The location is great and the hotel is quite comfortable. Breakfast is also good.
My room looks quite old and could benefit from some maintenance or upgrade work.
Our room was well equipped with everything we could have needed. The bed was comfortable and there was even a fan to use when it got a bit too warm.
The views from our room and around the entire property were breathtaking. The golf course was beautiful and all the staff were kind, helpful and informative.
The food was exquisite. We ate in the a la carte on our first night, and then had room service delivered from the bar on our second night. Both meals were delicious.
We took advantage of access to the pool facilities and were lucky to be mostly alone the few times we went.
Breakfast was delicious with options for myself and my partner. Where he prefers a cooked breakfast, I much prefer a continental and we were glad to have both been satisfied with the options available.
Before we left, we visited the golf shop and bought some souvenirs for our family members.
The only addition we mentioned was the possibility of dimmable lamps in the bedroom but it didn’t at all affect our thoughts on the property. We will certainly be back.
Great location and facilities
Could have been cleaner
On arrival reception staff were friendly and helpful.
The whole place needs to be updated. All the furniture looks worn. Beds and pillows are so uncomfortable. We didn't sleep at all. There are also no coffee making facilities in the room, and at the price they charge for a room, you'd expect to have that facility.
Breakfast was a buffet. The hot food was nowhere near hot, not even warm, very disappointing.
Definitely won't be returning.

Food was not great for price.
Beds lumpy and uncomfortable.
Pillows too flat.
Dusty bedroom.
Stained carpet.
Dated bathroom.
Shower not powerful enough.
Too expensive for what you get unfortunately.
The room was very nice and spacious with an enormous bed. The shower was powerful which we liked. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful.
There was nothing we actively did not like. A few minor things. The hot water to the wash basin took a very long time to arrive - about 4 minutes - which seemed a bit wasteful. The shower, although a very good flow, had what we thought was a rather odd tap function - you had to bend down in the flow to adjust the taps so if it was very cold or too hot that was not ideal. We could not find any USB ports - perhaps they were there and we did not see them. In most modern hotels we have stayed in there are USB ports and Power sockets near the bedside shelving/tables.
Pool, bars , breakfast.
Room, beds , noise at night
Just as good as last stay 15+ yrs ago
Facilities
Room was old and dated, cracks in ceiling and curtains hanging off the rails. Room 441. We were informed on booking in that we were getting a room upgrade, there were in fact lies as we got the room we paid for. This has been the fourth time we have stayed here, but unfortunately the last.
Everything was perfect for my friends 50th celebrations
Na
+ Rooms can be adjoined which is nice.
+ Golf court and hotel grounds are well looked after.
+ Good gym facilities.
+ 12pm check-out was great.
+ The staff were really pleasant and welcoming.
- Not a lot of hot vegetarian breakfast options.
- The room we stayed in had a lot of dead bugs everywhere and looked like it could do with a clean.
- Only lamps for lighting which is strange.
- Tank based water system which wasn't mentioned so not everyone can enjoy a bath!
The best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel
