Ground floor bar and reception looks nice but rest of hotel including rooms need updating. Room was dusty with rubbish from last occupant in bin. Breakfast offering was average -pastries were stale not much choice of continental options. Cooked food overdone. Clean Mugs all dirty and plates, cutlery and glasses/mugs smelt off dishwasher (ie dishwasher not cleaned

My husband couldn't watch the Hull game!
The room was very nice. Although I could not really use the pool facilities myself, they were enjoyed by the rest of our group.
I wasn't too sure about the self booking in at first but it did seem to work okay. Friendly staff were avaliable to support where necessary. I did struggle with the low toilet in our bathroom.
