A fine, budget stay. Don't expect 'boutique', special or any proper service.
Pros:

The pictures and reviews online portray this hotel as much nicer than in reality. It's fine, comfortable. But quite old and in need of a little maintenance and has clearly turned from what used to be a lovely boutique hotel into a budget offering. Fine, but not what was broadcast through the booking process.

Cons:

Just the honesty of the experience to expect, based on the images and description of the rooms.

Messy check-in, but helpful staff
Cons:

When we arrived, we were given the key to our room in the building next door, but the room was already occupied, as someone else’s belongings were still inside. The receptionist then gave us another room in the same building, but unfortunately that one had not been cleaned yet, with used towels and trash still there. We contacted reception again, and this time we were given a clean room in the main hotel building. It was noticeably bigger than the room we had originally booked, so it could be considered a complimentary upgrade.
Overall, this experience was quite uncomfortable, although the reception staff were helpful and managed to resolve the situation.

Eines meiner absoluten Favoritenhotels
Pros:

Wunderschöne Villa mit toll eingerichteten Zimmern und supernetten Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum und jeden Cent wert und auch der Kaffee schmeckt hervorragend. Habe mich rundherum wohlgefühlt und würde immer wieder herkommen. War schon mal vor 9 Jahren hier und es war noch genauso toll wie in meiner Erinnerung.

Cons:

Da gab es nichts.

Nettes Personal, tägliche Reinigung, sehr sauber, kein Teppich im Zimmer verlegt :)

Cons:

Dunkles EG-Zimmer, aufgrund der fehlenden Jalousien (od eines zweiten durchscheinenden Vorhangs) beim Fenster musste der schwarze blickdichte Vorhang dauerhaft zugezogen werden. Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer, lose/sehr instabile Duschamatur
