Pros:

Good position close to town centre and station. Reception staff very pleasant

Cons:

Rooms dated, shower difficult to control Heating came on too late went off too early. Back of building looked dilapidated

Upstairs need refurbishing
Pros:

Central location, bed comfortable.

Cons:

Very dated bathroom which needs replacing. Were woke up continuously through the night due to fire alarm (we understand this is just one those things - staff apologetic). Breakfast could have been better.

Comfy and cosy hotel in good location
Pros:

It was in a great location, breakfast five stars- really good.
Comfy bed and great having the bath
If you wanna see seals and wildlife come up here as only five mins walk to the Thurso river

Cons:

Malfunctioning kettle which did not work and the second one did not work, third time lucky!
Not fantastic when weary travellers.

Pros:

it was a roof over our head

Cons:

Stairs were crazy. they knew we were coming with a baby and a dog, and originally put us on 2nd floor! no rooms were clean downstairs, so had to go to 1st floor which they put us there to help us out! full flight of stairs up, then another 5 steps down, then 3 stairs up, then another 4 steps down just to get to our room! Door was suppose to be a fire door. see picture attached.
