Central location close to shops, bar and restaurant, parking for my motorcycle round the back, good breakfast, nice staff, clean room.

Cons:

No USB charging in the room if you forgot your adapter plug, the room was a bit plain and old styled, not very comfortable to relax in.

Staff were lovely,rooms were clean, great location. Could do with a bit of an update in certain places. Haven't seen an avocado bathroom suite since the 70's.

Günstig, nah an der Fähre gelegen und kostenfreier Parkplatz am Hotel.

Cons:

Ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, eine Renovierung wäre fällig. Historische Fenster sind charmant, aber direkt über einer Kreuzung auch nicht gerade geräuscharm. Das Personal ist bemüht, aber leider unkoordiniert. Für eine Nacht vor der Fähre ok, aber ich würde es nicht unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

If other accommodation in the town had been available, we would have left!
Pros:

We liked the location. The room was reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The carpark was tiny, muddy, strewn with rubbish and the corridors and stairs had smelly, dirty and sticky carpets and walls.

Miasto raczej obskurne , nieprzyjemne, zaniedbane i brudne.
Pros:

Parking obok, czysto w pokojach i łazienkach , śniadanie skromne, ale smaczne. Miły personel.

Cons:

Hotel jest do całkowitego remontu , wszystko ma już lata świetności dawno za sobą.

Functional, serves a purpose. Nice enough and certainly fine for the money.
Pros:

Location - close and accessible to the Orkney ferry terminal.

Breakfast - lovely, quick service, traditional and nice helpful staff.

Cons:

The location of the room! Unfortunately, right over the T junction, so would have been around 0200
Before the traffic stopped, but absolutely nothing the hotel could do about that. It wasn’t a deal breaker in the slightest.

Shower - it wasn’t until I was actually in the shower, I realised what the unmarked switch on the wall in the room was for. Every other switch had a label! I’d recommend a non-slip mat for the use of the shower in the bath, more than once I nearly took a header into the bath or onto the floor.

Dead flies on the restaurant window boxes -
Just a bit unsightly in a place you are eating. A quick run with the hoover would easily fix that.

Room TV - this must be the smallest TV on the planet. It’s like Michael Scott’s new flatscreen TV. Please, spend the extra £20 and get something suitable for the depth of room.
