Everything! A beautiful old mansion set in delightful grounds. Staff and service were wonderful.
Nothing. I could not fault anything.
I don’t normally complete reviews. I stay in dozens of different hotels every year. Jesmond Dene achieved my first perfect 10
Nothing
Great location peaceful
The fridge had a smell not sure if it was working and television was positioned in slightly awkward location to view from the bed.
My husband is an inpatient at Freeman Hospital and I was able to walk there and back , plus make use of beautiful room and garden during the v hot weather as it was cool., also able to order food after returning from long stressful day at hospital, staff were fabulous..
Nothing
A beautiful property and the perfect location to quickly get to Freeman hospital for work.
The bed was like a rock! That is the only reason I have given a low score because I didn’t sleep. I would stay again if there are softer beds in other rooms but another guest said they had the same issue as me when I was checking out.
Very pretty, traditional. Staff were all lovely. Breakfast was exceptional.
Bathroom slightly dated, no proper air con.
Superb building with lots of history and charm,
Great location with good parking and walks

The building, the room and the surroundings are beautiful. The food was really good quality, the chef clearly take pride in his cooking.
Sometimes hard to find staff, turned up my dinner reservation and had to wait 5 minutes and breakfast no staff around. However, they certainly made up for this, friendly and professional.
Everything ! Beautiful building on the edge of a park - it felt as if you were in the countryside. Room was gorgeous, staff extremely pleasant and friendly and food delicious .
Everything! Staff were lovely and went above and beyond. Grounds are just beautiful. The rooms and service were all exceptional. Would happily recommend and revisit.
Nothing. It was exceptional right across the board.
The property was clean and had a lively ambiance, breakfast was first class and staff were excellent
We arrived just after 8.30pm and were unable to get any food , only thing available off the room service menu was a cheese board ( it was really nice )
Absolutely loved staying here. Perfect location for work . Had several meeting and was able to meet with clients in a lovely setting and had privacy.
This is my third visit and will not be the last! I love this hotel it's so peaceful and very good English country quality. Such an oasis in this city I decided to extend my stay for a week!
no air con...but because of the outlook of the woodland and no noise I could leave the windows open and fan on which worked and was needed in this unusual heatwave.
Love location, staff very friendly, love the building and it’s history.
Lighting in bar , lounge areas is awful.
Bedside light switch didn’t work so had to get out of bed and switch off at
mains.
Paid £12 for tiny cup of soup and told bread would be extra.
Tiny tea cups in room , no use to anyone
