Avila Beach House

The place is well ran and cozy. Perfect for couples and families. It has the best location in Avila Beach for beachside activities and shopping as well.

Everything was great until the last Teo days when the resort was undergoing some renovations and the resort was basically cordoned off in a lot of areas. Unfortunate but I guess it needed to be done. The resort should have offered some discount for the inconvenience. I believe they will eventually do so. Thank you.

I booked on hotels.com, and the room was so much larger than I imagined. The location is excellent, and it was the perfect vacation for families with toddlers. The resort fee includes EV charging, beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards, e-bikes, complimentary tix to the aquarium across the street, and discounts on some of the restaurants within walking distance. The Friday night farmers market was so lively. The resort was so close to the beach that it was easier and closer to walk back to my room to use the restroom rather than using the public one at the pier. The included breakfast is perfect for littles (mine really enjoyed the muffins). There’s some lawn games and fire pits. Everyone was so friendly and kind. They give you two reusable water bottles, and there are multiple filling stations around the property. It was my first visit here, and I didn’t expect to fall in love with it, but we will definitely be coming back!

Idea location if you like the ocean. Rooms are clean.

Avila Beach House is a little slice of heaven! Our family of 6, soon to be 7, comes here every summer. We so enjoy our time here. :) The remodel recently completed is absolutely beautiful! Although, we thought it was beautiful before. The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms and grounds are immaculate, the complimentary breakfast is excellent, and the pool/jacuzzi area is great, with beautiful Avila Beach right across the street. Best of both worlds! We are lifelong customers for sure! Thank you Avila Beach House!

Beautiful location and hotel was very nice. Well kept grounds and hotel supplies fun activities on site. Only reason not a 5 star rating, bed was extremely uncomfortable, almost like it was an air bed. Room is a bit noisy due to the very large gap on the door. The door needs a seal around it.

Location and atmosphere is great.

Awful experience. We reserved a king ocean suite. We were placed on the bottom corner unit which is next to a put put golf course. All day and night the children were hitting golf balls against our unit!!! Kids were also screaming. There is a gate that also was slamming all hours of the night. There was no ocean view. All we could see were the cars parked on the street which blocked the ocean view. We paid $1100 per night for this room. We called to complain and they told us the manager of hospitality would call us and she never did. We are so upset and disappointed. What was supposed to be a nice romantic weekend in this very expensive room was the biggest disappointment. Trust us. Do not waste your money on the King Ocean View Suite at this hotel.

Customer service was excellent, room was spacious and clean with amazing front view of Avila Beach/ocean. The only recommendation is to upgrade the pull out sofa bed. The springs were sticking up and my granddaughters had to place sofa pillows under them to be able
to tolerate the springs. They were competing in Jr. Guards competition which required a good nights rest, which did not happen. The walls were thin, we could hear everything in the next room. The towels and bed linen nice quality. The grounds were beautiful and clean and location is subperb, just need a little refinement in the overall room comfort.

3 senior ladies had a wonderful time! Staff at hotel was wonderful. I'llbe back!

Perfect location! Loved our room for our family of 5. Impressed by the free breakfast because typically free is very basic this was a nice hot breakfast with everything from waffles, bacon and even chilaquiles! I also appreciated our housekeeping because we left late one day so we thought we got missed but after dinner we came home to freshly made beds and towels! Thank you so much!

We enjoyed our stay. We had a good view of the ocean from our room. There were issues with parking at times, and it was a little loud near our room at night. The breakfasts were good. I would have appreciated the cleaning of our room to have been done without asking and more towels in the room. It would also be nice if there were evening activities for the guests and a restaurant on site.
