Hidden gem in quiet Westminster area
Pros:

The staff was polite and helpful. Nice reception area. The hotel has a nice garden available for gatherings as well. But no noise was ever heard in the rooms that face another direction. Rooms were clean, water and coffee supplies regularly refreshed. Ironing board in the wardrobe.

Cons:

We did not understand, why the housekeeping kept giving us one hand towel and one face towel given that it was two of us in a room. The hairdryer was fixed within a pullout drawer in the room rather than in bathroom.

Pros:

Lovely hotel, the staff were amazing, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable and very clean. The Tiffin Tree restaurant was great, and sitting in the hotel courtyard on a summer evening was lovely.

Not a 4 star hotel!
Pros:

Rooms were aged but clean

Cons:

Lots of steps and stairs everywhere, even to access the lift to our room we had to first negotiated 2 flights of stairs with heavy luggage.
Paid for an upgrade to a room with a bath and then was told that it was advertised wrongly and not all deluxe rooms have baths! Got a sorry nothing else!
Beds were hard
Rooms were hot and small
Bright corridor light came in from under the door
No soundproofing
Would be a 3 star at best.
*** edit, apparently there are 2 sides to this hotel, this review is for the rooms on the South side! - apparently the North side is much nicer ***
