Enjoyed our stay and all staff were very polite and friendly and food excellent
Pros:

We only booked B&B but on the Friday I asked if we could have an evening meal but with my son and partner and it was no problem. When we were leaving I said I had to pay for our evening meal and was told nothing appeared on our room, but with no problem the receptionist sorted things out very pleased with the service.

Cons:

Nothing to complain about everything was fine

Pros:

Conveniently located closed to town centre. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful.

Cons:

Rooms need some sound proofing. We could hear other tenants, toilet flushes from other rooms....

Pros:

Great beds,

Cons:

Had to go look for tea and coffee in the room, as it was hidden in the desk. Had to ask for a pot of tea at breakfast a few times.

One night stop along the way as solo motorcycle driver through Scotland
Pros:

PARKING: large open air private area next to the hotel building. No gate, no camera, just a small wall. The hotel sits in front of a bus station. Overall not bad, but the area looked like one let-go since some time.
CHECK-IN: easy and quick. No particular extra todos.
STAFF: nice and friendly, but not very talktive.
WIFI/VPN: worked
SIZE: fair for a night or two, not really huge.
POWER WHEN YOU LEAVE: stays on, you have physical key.
CLEAN: it looked so to me.
QUIET: yes, the whole village is relatively quiet.
LOCATION: surroundings were nothing cool, but walk few steps and you are in the center of the village or at the harbor. So a good spot to move about.
SERVICES AROUND: in few mins walking you have the village at your disposal.
RESTAURANT IN WALKING DISTANCE: yes, some choice, but don't get there too late. Like past 8pm. They close.

Cons:

STYLE: it really needs some renovation. Overall (almost) everything worked, but it looked like no effort was spent in keeping the place in shape in the last 30 years. Common areas also smelling funny. Room was ok however.
BATHROOM: bathtub with shower curtains and a single bottle of soap provided for both the shower and the sink. Fine, but not really what I expected given the price.
VALUE FOR THE MONEY: not the best, I expected. Given the decadent style and the need of renovation, it was a bit overpriced. Parking is also... just the area next to the building.

A basic, functional hotel but it the bus stops right outside and the food was good.
Pros:

The food was really good and the staff friendly

Cons:

The room was sparse and looked tired and outdated. The tables were basic and the chairs old and had wobbly legs, I saw someone nearly fall backwards because of the unstable chair
