Nothing
I thought the place looked very tired and the bedding didn’t look the best particularly pillows
Nessun problema per il parcheggio. Colazione ottima, varia e abbondante. Hotel silenzioso, nonostante la posizione vicino a una strada. Il centro è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.
La stanza era piuttosto piccola per 4 persone.
Location is great right in the centre of Wick. The hotel had decent parking including charging for electric cars. The rooms had everything needed including kettle and hairdryer. Shower had good water pressure and warm water. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was pretty good with a selection of hot and cold options. Nice communal areas with ample seating.
Gute Lage downtown ; Komplettpaket mit Frühstück und Dinner möglich; saubere Zimmer
Sehr altbacken ; mehr für Touristen-Busse
God location, clean comfortable, attentive staff
Food amd Staff Fantastic
Fire Alarm problem went on till 2am couldn't sleep.
The hotel had availability in July last minute (a day before travel). The room was warm and they had tea and coffee making facilities with a biscuit. The Press and Journal newspaper was available to guests for free on check in. The fruit salad at breakfast was fresh and the yogurts individual rather than a bowl of gloop.
I really wanted this to be a positive experience as I travel to Caithness at least once a month and usually stay elsewhere. I had been told the food was good so gave it a try rather than my usual place. I will not be back! Where to start! The room was £117, a good £50 more than elsewhere so I expected it to be well maintained and clean. The furniture was cracked, the chair had what I hope was food on it rather than blood, the bathroom was disgusting and full of rust, dirty grout, a filthy pull cord for the light, and the towels had holes in them and were frayed. See the photos. The WiFi didn't work, the TV didn't work (which I managed to eventually fix myself), and we could hear every breath the person in the room beside us took because the snoring and seagull calls from outside travelled through the paper thing walls. On check in, the man with the beard gave us the key and walked away. I had to find the room without direction and realised there was no lift, which was a problem post operation. No offer of help with luggage to go up the flights of stairs. No direction on breakfast times nor checkout. Just took the money and barely spoke. He did print out a dinner menu when asked if they were serving evening meals. When I saw the state of the room, I wasn't about to eat there as can only imagine what stat a place that the public wouldn't see would be like. The cooked breakfast was buffet and a greasy congealed mess..I saw one guest open one of the kids and place it on top of the open food, flick a hash brown off it with his hand and replace the lid. No indication of what is in anything. It really needs visited by trading standards. There was one young girl on clean up and coffee duty who was lovely and working so hard but she was swimming against the tide and needed another person on breakfast duty to help. Really disappointed with The Norseman.
Zentral gelegen, freundliches Personal. In der Bar kann abends den Tag ausklingen lassen.
Nothing really
The shower was terrible, next to no water pressure
The creakiest floor I've ever seen, ever single step the floor creaked
The bed was so uncomfortable and not enough pillows
Curtains barely kept out the light so when the sun had risen the room was bright
We only booked B&B but on the Friday I asked if we could have an evening meal but with my son and partner and it was no problem. When we were leaving I said I had to pay for our evening meal and was told nothing appeared on our room, but with no problem the receptionist sorted things out very pleased with the service.
Nothing to complain about everything was fine
