Had character
Old feel
I loved the grounds. The public rooms downstairs. The pool.
I wish that around the pool there were sun loungers. And also some sun loungers off the gym and work out fitness room. Not just chairs.
The rooms were small but very nice, I would stay again
Didn't like that there wasn't any robe in the rooms for the spa
Very stylish hotel with great rooms
Nothing
Beautiful hotel and grounds. Grand hotel and interesting spaces to relax. Great room. Very clean and comfortable.
Nothing.
Beautiful
Most things. Nice big room. Good disabled parking.
Always queues checking in and out. Could do with a more slick process.
Room size, lovely breakfast, nice balloon and card left in the room for my birthday
£50 reauthorised amount taken for extras but very slow to put back into my bank as unused.
Could do with more sockets on each side of bed, maybe update the current ones to the newer USB
Breakfast was very good, quality food
In the dining room in the evening. The music thumping out of the speakers was not appropriate for an evening meal.
We also had to wait 15 minutes to check in.
breakfast staffing sparse
room opposite bin store. Bin store security light on all night shining directly through bedroom window.
Bin store activity very noisy. Noise finished late and started early.
did not have a view from room as window glazed to obscure view of bin store.
Beautiful surroundings, friendly, helpful staff.
All good but would benefit from extra parking
Tired and limited staff around
Spa was small and under staffed
Loved the room really spacious and clean. We asked for a cot and it was put up and had been made with bedding too.
Loved the breakfast, all the staff were lovely.
Only a small thing but our room was an extremely long walk from the entrance so it was tricky with all our bags and a baby.
The staff members were very friendly and the waiter in the bar made aus really welcome. We were too early and apparently our room was not ready which I doubted. It was more your policy and the rules to make us wait. What is the point?
We had a superior room ? (Do not know why it way called superior?) The small room was at the end of the long hallway. People used the emergency exit next to our door to get in and out?!?
Which did not feel safe!! Bypassing guest outside could overlook our room- so we had to close the heavy curtains which made the room dark and dingy.
Not pleasant but we only stayed one night - so I did not complained.
