Overall a good hotel but improvements need to be made.
Pros:

Overall a good hotel. Nice breakfast. Efficient service from staff, clearing tables and replenishing food.
Comfy beds and pillows.
Food at pool bar very good.

Cons:

Ergh…..shower curtains! Hate them as find them unhygienic. Bathroom had a lack of surfaces to place belongings.
Lack of sun loungers on balcony. You can’t relax outside so didn’t sit on balcony. Also lack of clothes airer so towels had to be placed over railings.
Room not serviced until mid afternoon so made it a bit awkward for a siesta.
Sun beds around pool all a little tired and some looked very dirty. €20 to hire a towel a bit expensive especially as they were very poor quality with holes and stains.

Amazing hit from check in to departure.
Pros:

Unfortunately we didn't arrive at the hotel until 10 .30, however the staff checked us in and the welcome amazing, it really was like being welcomed home, it continually amazed us how everything kept getting better, breakfast, housekeeping, pool and service and then to yop it off the bar service in the evenings was so professional and a privilege to be in attendance to witness ,pure class and standards of the highest magnitude. Based on this, we have flights booked for early Sept and hope to return. We are frightened to stay elsewhere as the bar service and experience would be unable to achieve anything close. Thank you team.

Cons:

Flight times for arrival, however, I booked them ! and i knew the transfer times!!!
All this is overcome immediately after dropping bags upstairs and entering the welcoming social area.

Ligging met gratis parkeerplaats, loopafstand dorp, groot balkon, stevige bedden, goed ontbijt, kan douchen voor vertrek bij het zwembad en daarvoor handdoeken lenen

Hotel ok but would say it’s more a good 3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel.
Pros:

The balcony was huge with sunbeds so definately a plus for this. Beds were comfy. The tuna salad at the bar was lovely.

Cons:

Likes others have said rooms could do with updating and the shower kept going incredibly hot and then freezing cold which would be dangerous if children or elderly people use it. Didn’t like the fact that it was a shower over a bath. The fridge was empty and did think for a 4 star hotel a bottle of water in the room would have been nice. Left a day early as I must admit if felt more like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel.

Une alarme a sonné TOUTE la nuit. Éloigné du centre ville. Personnel désagréable qui donne de mauvaises informations (service de restauration alors qu'il n'y en a pas). Cher pour les services et les équipements

Great Hotel and Location but …
Pros:

Location superb, staff amazing, breakfast lovely, pool and pool bar great, and very comfortable rooms - we love Carvoeiro and really like this hotel

Cons:

The fact there was a Tottenham Hotspur hooligan firm reunion happening in the hotel and the pool area was draped in football firm flags and the blokes were drunk, loud, and swearing - ruined what is usually a lovely stay at a family friendly hotel. Staff seemed extremely frustrated about it all but couldn’t do anything. Really not nice having young kids around that sort of lairy, loud, sweary, drunken, gang behaviour
