We had an amazing time! The property is beautiful , and honestly breathtaking. The elevator to the water and the path to get there is spectacular! The food we had at restaurants was very good, the staff so kind and helpful! Wonderful visit, and hope to return one day.

Albergo bellissimo, a picco sul mare di Praiano, dotato di una spiaggia privata raggiungibile con due ascensori.
Staff eccezionale. Colazione ricchissima su una terrazza con vista su Positano.
Camere con vista mare, funzionali e arredate con gusto.
Ma la parte più bella è la hall.
Prezzo giusto. Anzi uno dei pochi alberghi di questo livello in costiera rimasto a prezzi si alti, ma comunque che un comune mortale si può permettere per una volta.

The moment I arrived I found the staff professional, kind and friendly. I truly did feel like I was their only guest at times !

The service extended into every meal. Such pride in presentation and attention. Every bite was divine.. it was so convenient to have the three options for restaurants and the beautiful breakfast buffet in the morning .

The facilities are pristine. The staff always available, but not obtrusive. I especially enjoyed the upper pool.

I also enjoyed meals in my room on the terrace. I was traveling with my two adult daughters who shared a room right next to mine.

Within 48 hours of my arrival I extended my stay at the grand Hotel Treton from 7 to 10 nights! Thank you to the entire staff for one of my most memorable vacations!

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel—it’s easily among the top five I’ve experienced. From the start, they arranged transportation in advance and throughout the journey. Their replies were swift, extremely informative, and they consistently went the extra mile to ensure everything ran smoothly.

The staff noticed it was my birthday and immediately upgraded my room, even surprising me with a complimentary bottle of champagne. At dinner, they had prepared a birthday cake in advance. Every detail was so thoughtful—it’s clear they are genuinely customer‑centric.

What impressed me most was their attentiveness. During my three‑day stay, they never once asked which room I was in—they simply knew. They remembered who we were, our room, and even our plans and transport arrangements, despite having many guests. That level of care was remarkable.

Special thanks to Gennaro, Stefano, all the receptionists, and the waiter who served me during my birthday dinner and breakfast (apologies for not asking your name). I truly enjoyed speaking with you all—you were kind, attentive, and helpful.

Overall: 10/10. I would definitely return someday. Compared to Positano, I found Praiano’s calmness and quietness far more appealing. If you’re deciding between staying in a busy, convenient spot or somewhere a little farther but more peaceful, I highly recommend this hotel for slow travelers —you’ll love it.

Amazing hotel!! We stayed for a week and every day was magical. The staff were so friendly and helpful; especially Laura from reception and Rocco in the breakfast room. Each restaurant area had fantastic service, particularly the high end restaurant that had a team of staff to assist us throughout the meal. The food was wonderful in each location. I can’t say enough about the room and the view from our balcony; waking up to the sound of the sea, the birds and hearing the church bells from Praiano was so peaceful. The views were incredible all over the hotel. We used the hotel shuttle into Praiano only once, as the restaurants we reserved were not within walking distance of the drop off; taxis were more efficient. We used mostly water taxis and private taxi verses the bus, which were expensive but worth the convenience. Coming back to the hotel after a day walking through congested streets of the various cities was like returning to an island of tranquility. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We recently stoped at this hotel for a couple of nights for my 40th birthday, I don’t usually write reviews but I only think it’s right to show appreciation to the hotel and its staff.

From our arrival we were treated to the finest hotel experience I have ever received and I like to think I have stopped at some nice 5star hotels but this exceeded my expectations.

As an architect by profession the hotel was full of well designed spaces decorated to the highest of standards and the setting on a cliff edge treated us to the most spectacular views of the dramatic coastline.

Our room was a suite again the attention to detail and views were to die for.

The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us, the dining was an experience in its self with every dish presented and introduced on where the food was sourced and cooked in fine detail. The wine list and cellar was exceptional with the staff detailing and helping us choose the perfect wines to suit the moment.

Overall what I loved about the hotel was the personal touches and the family feeling we were part of whilst staying there. We met the owners who were so inviting and there beautiful dogs again made our stay feel so warm.

The location was perfect with access various towns on the coast and they even offer a free shuttle

Without a doubt, this was the most amazing hotel experience I’ve ever had! My husband and I visited this hotel for our elopement and were blown away by how beautiful, unique, and hospitable everything was. It is located on the outside of Praiano, making it actually pretty close to Positano but without all the crowds and noise. With views of the cliffs, Praiano, and Positano depending on which of the many terraces we were standing on, it felt like we were in heaven. The rooms each have beautiful views and terraces with the most comfortable beds and very clean. The restaurant rivaled many Michelin star restaurants I’ve been to with the most attentive and helpful staff in restaurant and bar — Alessandro (both of them!), Antonio, and Rocco were fabulous. The family legacy of the hotel made it feel even more special — the owner was there with his adorable dogs and it made us feel like we were “home” with how connected we felt with the staff. The concierge was very helpful to us and they provide shuttle to and from Praiano or help you find a water taxi. This hotel is unique in that it has elevated cliff views but also has an elevator going down to the beach to its own beach club and boat pickup area, making it very convenient if you want to book a boat ride. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and am so glad it now holds a special place for us as the beginning of our marriage together. We cannot wait to return!

There are very few places in the world that reinvigorate your heart & soul as strongly as Grand Hotel Tritone. This was our second stay in just two and a half years, and if anything, the experience has only deepened. What was first a honeymoon stop has now cemented itself as a home away from home. It remains one of the most incredibly beautiful and relaxing destinations on the coast—a true sanctuary where the views are matched only by the warmth of the hospitality. The improvements they made over the 2.5 year span were a wonderful surprise, including the brand new bar, a gym, and plush beach loungers.

What truly elevates this hotel from beautiful to legendary is the staff. They are warm, professional, and move with an attentiveness that makes you feel entirely looked after without ever being intrusive.

A massive thank you to the team who made our stay so memorable. Too many to name, but here are the few who really stood out:
• Luigi (Bar & Restaurant Manager): A true master of hospitality. Luigi has a rare gift for making every single guest feel like the most important person in the room. He is warm yet professional and always happy to engage in conversation. We cried when we said goodbye - he is in our hearts forever.
• Rocco (Restaurant Manager): always walks with a smile and his head held high. He is inviting and ensures each guest feels both welcome and taken care of.
• Paolo (Nino Beach Club Manager) & Chiara (Server): The team at Nino Beach Club creates such a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind, thanks to their constant energy and care.
• Alessandro (Server): provided stellar service as our waiter at both the Bistro and and Nino Beach Club. Every meal with him felt like we were at a 5-star restaurant.
• Andrea (Master Bartender) & Marco (Bartender): The craft and care put into the drinks here are second to none. Whether it was a classic or a custom creation, these two are absolute artists behind the bar.

If you are looking for a place that feels like a second home—but with unforgettable views and world-class service—this is it. We are already counting down the days until our third visit.

Year after year, this place keeps getting more and more beautiful. Over the past two years, I had only stopped by the Grand Hotel Tritone for a sunset aperitif, but this year I finally stayed there and it exceeded all my expectations.
Every time I return, I find the hotel even more refined, colorful, and perfectly in harmony with the authentic style of the Amalfi Coast. What truly makes the difference, though, is the atmosphere: this is not just a hotel, but a place with soul, run by amazing people who make you feel at home from the very first moment.
The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast is outstanding, and the overall food quality is simply the best I have ever experienced.
The Amalfi Coast is already a dream destination, but the Grand Hotel Tritone is something truly unique, it elevates the entire experience to another level.
