Disappointing experience for the price – Needs improvement
Pros:

Breakfast was pretty good, staff were friendly

Cons:

We booked this hotel expecting a stay that justified the premium price, but a couple of major issues impacted our comfort.🔌 Power outage with limited backupOn our second day, there was a power cut that lasted for about six hours.
The issue: I learned that power cuts happen fairly regularly in Gibraltar.
The setup: A hotel at this price point really should have a backup generator.
The response: Only providing a single torch per room felt insufficient for a six-hour outage.
Outside noise disturbances: Our peace was frequently disrupted by youngsters revving motorcycles right outside the property.
The timing: This happened throughout the day—morning, afternoon, and up until 11:00 PM.
The staff: The hotel team did not seem willing to step in or address the noise.
The resolution: I eventually had to go outside and handle the situation myself to get some quiet.
Final Verdict: The hotel has potential, but the management needs to invest in backup power and take guest comfort more seriously when outside disruptions happen.

A good choice for a couple of days in Gibraltar
Pros:

Thank you for early check in and room upgrade!
We liked amazing window view, delicious breakfast and city centre location.

Cons:

It was a pity that we couldn’t enjoy the rooftop swimming pool because of a private event. 😞

Fabulous hotel near all the attractions with quality service
Pros:

Great room (superior king on 6th floor) with extra big bed, great little Juliet balcony and fantastic shower.
Pool on the roof and great views of the Bay. Staff were very helpful eg phoning for taxi, keeping medications etc. Recommend staying here 👍🏻

The view from the room or suite.

Cons:

Room Service was AWFUL. After 10:00 P.M. you can starve to death. There is not a decent meal after 10:00 p.m. Only 1 sandwich or pizza. I went to get something to eat at the restaurant at 9:45 P.M. and they told me at the restaurant that the cook or chef already left and that they couldn't prepare anything. I had to wait until 10:00 P.M. so the person that was coming to work at the front desk could prepare a sandwich for me. PATHETIC.
