Please note that double or twin rooms are allocated according to availability at the time of check-in. Caps can be purchased at the reception of the property's Health Club.

Ein SPA Hotel auf dem Jakobsweg!
Pros:

Schönes Hotel im Stil der frühen 2000er am Hochrufes gegenüber des Konvents von Vila do Conde mit modern ausgestattetem SPA, abends kann man Büfett- Abendessen dazu buchen.
Reichhaltiges Frühstücks-Büffet.

Cons:

Die Installation hat kleine Macken. Wenn man duscht, gurgelt es in den Leitungen aus dem Bidet kommt kurzzeitig Schmutzwasser hoch.

The view.

Cons:

The hotel is called “Santana Hotel & Spa”, but the SPA part was missing!
The sauna didn’t work, the Turkish Bath was cold, the heated pool was cold, any Hotel that’s a Hotel and SPA offers flippers, bath ropes and towels. We had to pay a fee to use the bath ropes and towels (they returned it the end, but still, should be in the room, free of charge) and they don’t have flippers to go to the SPA, not even for buying, and they charge 10€ for a swimming cap. Also, they announce a restaurant that was referred at Michelin Guide many times, but when we arrived to have dinner, only the buffet service was available, and only poor choices to eat, fried fish or duck rice with triple cheese.

Luxury stop on Camino
Pros:

Lovely indoor pool. Amazing view over the river and town, especially from dining room at sunset. Great breakfast

Cons:

A little out of town but worth it for the views. Had to spend €10 for a swimming cap to use pool if you don’t have your own.

A vista é fenomenal e todo o staff muito simpático

Cons:

O bar esteve sempre fechado durante a minha estadia de 2 noites (de sexta a domingo). Na noite de sábado tive de me deslocar ao restaurante do hotel para comprar duas bebidas e tive de ser eu a levá-las para a esplanada do bar hotel que se localiza no piso superior ao do restaurante uma vez que o bar se encontrava fechado.
Além disso, tem muito poucos espaços exteriores e os que tem estão um pouco ao abandono.

Zona tranquila, es una opción bastante económica. Habitaciones grandes.

Cons:

El spa tenía el agua fría y la sauna fuera de servicio. No daba ganas de estar allí la verdad, la temperatura del agua y del sitio se hacía desagradable. La sala del desayuno siempre la encontramos con las mesas sin montar o sin recoger de los anteriores y tardaban bastante en reponer cuando se agotaban productos en el buffet.

Completamente diferente das fotos, não é um hotel 4*

Razoável, muito básico

Cons:

Colchão super desconfortável, alcatifa do chão muito velha e suja, toalhas sempre húmidas e um cheiro desagradável, ar condicionado do quarto só funcionava o da entrada , onde estava a cama não funcionava( pedi para verificarem e ninguém fez caso), paguei caução para robes e toalhas que acaba nos por nem usar devido ao cheiro
