Relaxed, tranquill weekend away
Pros:

The location and building is very beautiful. The staff where very friendly and helpful. We had dinner which was Devine with excellent service. The room was very tranquil

Cons:

The room had a few issues, the door to the bathroom was swollen and so it could not close. The underfloor heating in the main living area was not working. And in the bedroom we only had one side table. The hook to the outside door was broken so we could not hook the door in.

Overall happy, just not the cleanest. Needs renovations too.

Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful thatch style structures.

Cons:

Cleanliness was not top. Hair on bathroom counter and floor. Dusting floorboards and nooks and crannies not being done.

Even better than the photos!
Pros:

The property was even better than it looks on Booking.com. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, everything was spotlessly clean, and there was a wonderful sense of privacy. Our room had three large bedrooms and felt like a cozy country home. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. We only wish we could have stayed for more than one night. We would definitely love to come back!

Perfect getaway spot in Franschoek.
Pros:

Comfortable rooms. Very spacious with all amenities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very central location with easy access to town and other attractions with a regular shuttle for guests.

Nothing at all.

Pros:

We loved the hot water bottles that was found inside the bed as we climbed in and the heated floors in the room and bathroom. Nice and cozy !

Cons:

It was very noisy where our room was situated. Got woken up around 6am from staff talking and loud sounds.

Lovely setting. Ok facilities. Probably better in summer than winter.
Pros:

Lovely to look at. Two bedroom cottages very spacious.

Cons:

We went in winter and the cottage took a while to heat up. It was also very windy and bits of the thatched roof rained down on the bed. The en-suite bathroom was cramped and poorly designed. The door scrapes against the was basin stand and you have to clamber around the toilet to get into the shower.
