Nice for a night
The front desk person
Low rate
Property and rooms were dark and rundown and uncomfortable
Location
Room was filthy. Floors clearly had not been swept. Possible blood on the wall and general grunge on several service. I don't know what was in the bedside drawer but it definitely wasn't a bible. The towels were not even folded properly and clearly had been placed without any regard for professional standards. I honestly considered sleeping in my car. They also asked for a $100 cash security deposit. Though the manager did waive that I have never seen that before and I stay at a lot of hotels. Staying at another hotel was not an option because the PGA event in town several limited the last minute options. I won't be back.
Where do I begin?! Sign at Front Desk for said no one was available, meanwhile, there was a guy behind the desk at the computer. No uniform, name tag or anything. He must have been "filling in" and was on the phone with someone who fed him questions to ask the guest. When guest responded, he'd tell the person on the phone. I was asked if I wanted a smoking or non smoking room. I asked for non smoking. Thexroom assigned to me reeked of very stale cigarette smoke. There was a puddle of water under the sink and it never went away Room looked and felt like something out of one of those TV crime shows. Upon leaving the room, the door was stuck. Old wooden door that expanded with the hot sun on it. I had to call the front desk to have someone kick it open from the outside. If there was a fire, I wouldn't have been able to escape. I expected more from a Wyndham company, but it seems that independent people are able to buy them
Room was dirty, some bugs, internet and TV intermittent, no coffee in room, wouldn't recommend DAys Inn Springfield.
Location is ok.
Lights was not working and bed was definitely not queen!
Only stayed here because our other room got cancelled. It’s a dump.
It was horrible. I couldn't sleep. Old and run down to the ground. Broken furniture tiles in the bathroom... just bad......
Oh my gosh. Linoleum flooring with crusty stains. When I took a shower- the drain backed up with dirty, cold water up to my ankles. Slept with lights on 'cus I was so grossed out.
I barricaded my door with their night stand because I was worried about security.
Ladies- this is a motor inn. They give you an electronic key with the room # written on the key in magic marker. I worried prior visitors might also have a room key since I could tell the magic marker used was worn (as in the same card used many times).
If you stay- I would recommend you use an additional door locking device of your own.
Personally- I will never stay here again.
Staff was friendly
Dated motel, lumpy mattress and pillows, no TV in one of the rooms
It looked nice from the outside. If the room was kept up, it would be nice.
The staff was nasty and rude. The room had holes in the wall, and the shower fell off the wall when I cut the water on. The sink was stopped up. They charged me an extra tax fee even though I paid through booking.com 3 days before I needed to be there. The manager laughed when I told him the receptionist was rude and being disrespectful. I needed the room because we had to bury my father-in-law. Nastiness and attitudes were not neccessary and the management thought it was funny. One key to the room wouldn't work. The stay was terrible. We will never go back.
