Beautiful classic hotel in the center of wonderful Bergen. Everything about the hotel is top notch; excellent rooms, amazing food and very friendly and welcoming staff. A short walk to all the sites.

-De inrichting van het hotel. -De lounge. -Diner en ontbijt inclusief de prijs. -De locatie van het hotel. -Parkeergarage voor de deur. -Personeel van het restaurant (zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam)
-De veel te zachte bedden/matrassen. Waren net een hangmatten. -De dame achter de receptie bij het uitchecken was niet erg vriendelijk en eerder arrogant bij beantwoording van een tweetal vragen. -Geen mogelijkheid om cash (NOK) te betalen aan bv. de bar.

Great location with included sauna facilities (dry and steam). We fully enjoyed having both breakfast and dinner meals included with the rate. The food was very good with lots of options.
The front desk staff was not very welcoming or friendly—but not rude either. Just indifferent. The room key system was inconsistent so we had to have new keys made twice.
Great location, very friendly staff and really good breakfast. Evening meal was ok. Afternoon tea served in takeaway cups was a bit strange.

Great location and right next to main sights. Hotel feels very upscale. Great views from room, and bed was comfortable. The breakfast bar was much quieter than other hotels, which we enjoyed. Smaller spread, but everything that you need including traditional english breakfast, yogurt, coffee, and more. Our favorite offering was the included dinner they do nightly. One night we didn't want to leave the hotel in the cold and rain, and we loved that we could get dinner here. The sweet potato soup was delicious! We also made use of the hotel bar in the lobby, which was a great stop over between sightseeing. We took a cheap uber from the train station to get here, which was much better than a 20 min plus walk in the rain. There is also a grocery store next door, which made it easy to pick up anything that we needed.
The room wasn't as cleaned as we wanted. The bathroom set up was very cramped, and no matter what we did...water got all over the floor. We had to use many towels on the floor each time that we showered just to make sure the floor was not slippery. We had specifically requested lunch bags to go before our norway in a nutshell tour, and unfortunately they were given to other guests. Staff did help us make something up quickly before we left!

Not really great value for money.. I’ve stayed at expensive hotels but there’s always something that stands out. This one charges a truckload for an average hotel , average design, breakfast is good, dinner is average (location is great but there’s other options).
The stairs seem to only be emergency stairs so you can wait for a long time for the elevator.

Hervorragend gelegenes, sehr komfortables Hotel mit guter Küche. Halbpension hat sich angesichts hoher Preise in der Umgebung ausgezahlt. Prima Betten, sehr freundliches Personal. Unbedingt empfehlenswert ist eine Erkundung des historischen Gebäudes und ein Besuch des Turms auf dem Dach.
Die nachmittägliche "Fika" als Bestandteil der Halbpension wurde ohne Geschirr serviert; schade, denn dies passt nicht zur sehr schönen Lobby und ist unterhalb des hohen restlichen Standards des ansonsten sehr guten Hauses.

Great location and the breakfast and dinner were both amazing. The room was comfortable and the staff was helpful.
We booked parking far ahead of time and due to construction it was cancelled but they didn't tell us until the day of our reservation. The bathroom door in the standard room also has glass and is see-through in parts.
