Très bel hôtel. Service professionnel. Petit-déjeuner royal.
Pros:

Chambre spacieuse, salle de bain très agréable. Lit King size très agréable. Bien insonorisé. La clim! Heureusement parce qu'il faisait torride lors de notre séjour. Tv très facile à utiliser. Propreté nickel. Petite boutique (snacks, boissons , distributeur de billets) à l'intérieur même de l'hôtel.
Restaurant très bon. Prix corrects. Service très sympa (en général. C'est un gros établissement. Tout est très professionnel)
Petit déjeuner INCROYABLE! A prendre absolument. Je n'ai jamais vu autant de choix, plein de jus frais, la possibilité de se faire faire une omelette à notre gout. Rien que pour le petit déjeuner, il faut y aller.
Tout le centre-ville, la cathédrale, la gare juste à côté. A pieds sans problème. Parking voiture public juste à côté.

Cons:

J'aurais espéré à ce prix là et pour une si belle chambre une vue un peu mieux que "vue sur d'autres chambres en face", même difficile de voir un bout de ciel. C'est l'architecture du lieu qui veut ça (en forme de O avec un vide au milieu, donc plein de chambres donnent sur l'intérieur du bâtiment. Nous avions donc "vue sur chambres". (ceci dit rideaux occultants donc pas de problème pour l'intimité.)
Peut-être demander lors de votre réservation d'avoir une vue vers l'extérieur du bâtiment! Je retournerai à cet hôtel lors de mon prochain séjour à Cologne. Mais je demanderai une chambre avec vue sur l'extérieur

Fabulous hotel next to Cologne Cathedral and the train station
Pros:

Beautiful hotel next to the train station and Cologne Cathedral. NOVANDY was so kind and considerate checking us in wanting to make sure we had the best possible stay. The breakfast buffet down in the restaurant was wonderful with a large assortment of delicious food, gluten-free options and made to order eggs. We happen to be there during 100° heat wave so I was trying to get a fan in my room and Pilar The at your service telephone operator was so amazing to find me a fan and have it delivered to my room. I really appreciated that when checking out there were two girls at the front desk. Think one was named Leah and the other girl started with an M and their happiness was contagious. It was so nice to see people happy to do their job. Happy to be helping me and wanting to make me happy too. I appreciated that. And they made sure that we got some water on the way out to deal with the heat on our train. Great hotel highly recommend for your cologne Germany day.

Convenient, close to everything, good AC for European standards.

Cons:

We paid for a larger room since there were 3 adults but when we go there, they didn’t have our room and gave us a smaller room. They compensated by giving us lounge access but not cost of room difference. I was too tired and exhausted to argue so just gave in. Also learned that, as I booked through Booking, Marriott doesn’t acknowledge my Bonvoy Gold Elite status, so I didn’t get perks that way.

Das Hotel war sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Zimmer hatte eine angemessene Größe und war von guter Ausstattung. Am besten hat mir das Frühstück gefallen. Die ganze Aufmachung des Essbereichs und die Auswahl waren ganz ganz toll

Lovely stay but can’t say it is 5*
Pros:

The rooms were lovely and spacious. The hotel was in a great location. The staff were polite. Breakfast was good with variety.

Cons:

Our room had a build up of dust on the window sill that looked like it had been there for many weeks. The bathroom could do with an upgrade.
