Very friendly staff and the location of the hotel was brilliant.
There was now explanation on how to use the lift with the room key. We got stuck in the lift and had to call an emergency. Fortunately a staff member quickly appeared and explained that to choose a floor you had to use your room key.
There should be instructions in the lift as to what to do.
I would like to start by expressing my sincere appreciation to Mr. Christof for his outstanding support, dedication, and efforts throughout my stay. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help were truly exceptional. I would also like to thank Celina at the lounge, who consistently provided warm, attentive, and outstanding service, making every interaction a pleasure. In addition, Manager Lea was excellent—professional, approachable, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests have a positive experience. These team members are a true credit to Marriott and represent the hospitality and service standards that have kept me loyal to the brand over the years.
Unfortunately, my interaction with one front desk staff member, Giovana, was completely different from the excellent service demonstrated by the rest of the team.
I was already dealing with an issue that required assistance, understanding, and support. Instead of helping to resolve the matter, Giovana was unhelpful, impatient, and spoke to me in an unprofessional manner. She repeatedly told me to be quick because other guests were waiting and raised her voice during our conversation. Rather than helping to reduce the stress of the situation, her behavior only added more frustration and anxiety to an issue I was already trying to resolve.
As a Titanium Elite member, I expected a professional and respectful approach. When I informed her that I intended to report the interaction, she raised her hand dismissively and responded, "You don't scare me. Go and report it. Write anything you want." I was genuinely shocked by this response. In all my years of staying at Marriott properties across Morocco, Doha, Miami, New York, and many other destinations, I have never experienced such behavior from a Marriott associate.
What made the situation even more concerning was that the interaction took place in a public area. Giovana's raised voice attracted the attention of other guests nearby, and because she was speaking so loudly, people around us could overhear details of my situation that I considered private. This was uncomfortable and embarrassing, and it showed a lack of discretion and respect for guest privacy. Guest concerns should be handled professionally and confidentially, not in a manner that allows personal matters to become the focus of public attention.
What made this incident even more surprising is that every other staff member I encountered at this property was courteous, respectful, and eager to help. Giovana's behavior stood in sharp contrast to the professionalism demonstrated by her colleagues and did not reflect the culture of hospitality that Marriott is known for.
Thankfully, Mr. Christof stepped in and provided the support, professionalism, and care that I had originally hoped to receive. After an unnecessarily stressful experience, his assistance was a genuine relief. He listened carefully, understood the situation, treated me with respect, and worked diligently to help resolve the issue. His conduct was a true reflection of Marriott's values and the high standards of service that guests expect and appreciate.
I hope management recognizes the outstanding contributions of Mr. Christof, Celina, and Lea, whose efforts made a meaningful difference to my stay. At the same time, I hope this incident is reviewed seriously so that all guests are treated with the professionalism, courtesy, discretion, and respect that Marriott is known for around the world.

Die Lage war für uns top. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
Die Zimmer hatten Ihre Zeit hinter sich und sollten mal modernisiert werden. Zumindest kann ich das nur für unsere Zimmer behaupten. Vor mehreren Jahren war ich schon mal in diesem Hotel. Da waren unser Zimmer top.
"Das Frühstück war leider enttäuschend: Die Eier waren kalt und die Brötchen haben uns nicht überzeugt. Sehr positiv hervorzuheben ist jedoch der Frühstücksraum. Er ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und die Tische stehen angenehm weit auseinander, sodass die Privatsphäre absolut gewahrt bleibt."

Très peu ou pas d’accessoires de beauté (coton tige, demake-up Pad ou autres) dans salle de bain - avons trouvé une grande bouteille de coca cola vide sous un des lits à notre arrivée - je ne sais pas comment le ménage a été fait. Bizarre.
