Great place to stay in Alvor, comfy and spacious rooms
Pros:

The Pestana Alvor Park was perfect for our holiday, the hotel staff are super friendly and helpful. Our room was great, very comfortable and plenty space. The pool area is clean and tidy, the bar staff were great. The location is walking distance to the beach and old town, but it was very hot so we did use uber a few times, that was also really easy.
The hotel is not ultra modern / brand new but the decor was lovely and good quality, for the price range this hotel is excellent value.

Lovely stay
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, nice food and coffee in snack bar. Quiet around pool (no music which was gorgeous). The room was very clean. They provide pool towels daily from reception. We had triple room, so I stayed on sofa bed, fine for a night, but not very comfy for more than a couple of nights.

Cons:

Only one threadmill in gym and it was dangerously slippey. Another person entered gym and asked how I managed to stay on. It is a hazard. I think the cleaners used furniture solution on it?? Anyway, it is of no use due to this issue.
