The location
No extraction in the bathroom so walls had black mouldy grout.

The member of staff who greeted us was pleasant and breakfast was good, but, thats all the positive comments we can make.
The room was dirty, the shower head on the riser rail was broken and we were unable to use the shower and the wall light falling off the wall. Before someone posts a response about reporting it, the cleaner must have known about the brakes, or, they didn't clean the room. Also the net curtains had mildew on them. This is basics of being in the hotel trade, to check everything is working, not rely on guests to tell you, when things have clearly been broken for a while.
The staff were exceptional. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Location was lovely.

The restaurant was not functional when I stayed. There was a very limited bar menu with no food suitable for either diabetic or gluten free diets so This limited menu/ change to restaurant service was not made clear in the descriptions, so I nearly missed getting a meal at all, as I had to find elsewhere to eat at close to closing time

TV not working, bathroom tired, rusty and not very clean.
Dog bed not clean. Had to pay £30 for our dog for nothing except the provision of a smelly dog bed.
Breakfast very poor. Felt like a second-class citizen twice over - having a dog and not being part of the wedding party this l that weekend.
Local church clock chiming every 15 minutes through the night. Even with earplugs, I couldn't sleep.
Love this hotel , been many times , not to keen on returning so often now as its a continental breakfast instead of a cooked breakfast, there wasn't much of a selection and of cold meat ect , staff are always well mannered and helpful, would be good to go back to cooked breakfasts again

What’s not to like. Nice hotel, friendly staff and a beautiful location
When we booked it was cooked breakfast but found out days before arrival that it was only continental breakfast
Very spacious rooms. Good location and views from bedrooms
The hot water was taking lot of time. Had to run the tap for almost 5 minutes before we get hot water.
The toilet flush tank hold very less water and the force was not enough to flush cleanly in one attempt
Super friendly and helpful staff, big bed (maybe a bit too hard), good breakfast, clean room, lots of parking space, bar and restaurant in the hotel.
Bathrooms were a bit dated. A stand alone shower would be nice, especially if you are a tall person.
