I really like the property view of the lake and the very close the centre
The location was great for walking to Ambleside and going to other places on the boat from the lakeside.
The room was pretty basic for the price and ours looked over the car park, which was a shame. Great breakfast choice, however full English could have been hotter.

Think a little outdoor covered in area would be helpful. It’s a very dog friendly hotel, but I do feel that dogs should remain out of the restaurant or a separate indoor area.

The particular room that we stayed in was quite noisy with some form of air conditioning units outside humming constantly I think we were in a room over a maintenance room.

The room was really tiny for the price point of £170 per night and the toilet was not positioned well.
Appreciate that the place was at peak hours, and understaffed, when we arrived, but got to wait for close to 10 minutes to be checked in.
