Pet-friendly rooms are limited. A GBP 15 fee per pet per night applies and guests are required to inform the property in advance.
When booking five or more rooms, group terms and conditions are applied to your reservation. A 10% non-refundable deposit is taken at time of booking and full payment and rooming list are required six weeks prior to your arrival. Breakfast was lovely very filling.
Location great for the boats and a small walk to the town.
Grounds and appearance need a little tlc.
Great breakfast, and the meals at the restaurant are awesome, matched with the awesome outside garden by the lake. The room was very clean and had enough space for 3 people.

Curtains in the room were awful and literally let light in down the entire middle 3rd of the curtain, pointless design.
Room was very good and quiet the breakfast area
The breakfast area is is to cramped around the toaster with people walking past with hot drinks and food.Did not have an evening meal as on the first night we were told there was an hour and half wait.
Nice property with a good view from the restaurant/pub, although can’t say that for the view from the room . Great breakfast. Locations was ideal for us for the Great Northern Swim. Town for restaurants is only a walking distance.

Amazing time at the Windermere rooms. Our room was on the top floor. Had just the glimpse of the lake which we didn’t expect.

Location was amazing. Stunning view from our room. The room was big and spotless. Bed and pillows super comfy.
Would have liked a mini fridge or something this that in the room as it was so hot,we couldn't keep our drinks cold. Breakfast was busy and standard. No choice of eggs at the buffet.
Location and parking was good
I have mobility issues and informed them of this.
Access to the bar area was via numerous high steps and the same to get out, the toilets were through various rooms and steep steps at various points to reach them.
Outside had pea gravel to the outside seating area and I could not use my wheelchair as it just struck in the stones and would not move even if pushed. Access to the room had a 6 inch step to get in and was vey small room for £250 for one night.
This is not a hotel recommended for the disabled and should be made clear.
Location was amazing and how dog friendly the whole hotel was.
The room was a little hot but there was a supplied fan so that improved things!
Check in was quick, staff were lovely. The room was gorgeous and clean, beds were very comfy and we had an outside patio area which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent and the location was brilliant with only a short walk into ambleside.
