A very traditional hotel in a beautiful location with inspiring views and a rather good restaurant
Pros:

The view is fantastic. They are slightly unlucky as many of the river boats moor up because the view is so good, but our breakfast view was superb. The rooms are very traditional and once again our view was a pleasure. The room size was generous and the shower/bathroom very good.
We also ate at the Rableo restuarant which was very, very good food. Our compliments to the chef.
On our arrival we were helped by a wonderful lady who couldn't do enough for us.

Cons:

It would have been good to have a gym/fitness room on site. Bar service was a bit patchy but the staff were cheerful.

Room service - qualidade da comida (prego no pão, passado, batatas fritas frias).
Restaurante, uma hora e meia para iniciarmos a refeição. Os pratos são um pouco fortes/intensos e não seguem as receitas tradicionais portuguesas. Dá ideia que o # staff não é suficiente para a dimensão das necessidades dos clientes. Piscina com pouco apoio. Pequeno almoço razoável, mas nada de especial.

Es war ein großer Fehler, dieses Hotel zu buchen!

Wir waren ziemlich enttäuscht, deshalb schreiben wir erstmals eine negative Bewertung auf Booking. Wir können nur davor warnen, so viel Geld für dieses Hotel auszugeben. Wir haben den Preis eines fünf Sterne plus Hotels bezahlt, aber Leistung allenfalls nach 3-4 Sternen erhalten. Das Personal war wenig bemüht und nach unserem Eindruck handelte es sich hauptsächlich um Hilfskräfte. Das Frühstück war wenig abwechslungsreich, etwas lieblos aufbereitet und erinnerte eher an ein Massenhotel an der Costa del Sol; es hatte keinesfalls Superior Niveau wie der Preis. Das Mobiliar im Zimmer war recht alt, die Stoffe teilweise verschlissen und dreckig, der Fuß eines Sessels war abgebrochen. Direkt hinter dem Hotel ist der Bahnhof, vor dem Hotel ankern die Flusskreuzfahrtschiffe. Besonders krass war allerdings, dass es im Badezimmer, obwohl es frisch renoviert war, keinen großen Spiegel gab. Wenn man einen Spiegel brauchte, musste man die innere Kleiderschranktür nehmen. Das WLAN brach zu manchen Tageszeiten alle paar Minuten ab und man musste sich neu einloggen.

Sehr schönes Anwesen mit traumhaftem Pool und Garten, sehr freundliches Personal, köstliches Frühstück, Schiffsanlegestelle für Bootsfahrten gleich vor der Türe

Cons:

Essen im Restaurant- überteuert, schlechtes Service, lange Wartezeit, winzige Portionen ( Hauptspeise mit 5 Ravioli)- in der Umgebung gibt es bessere

Un endroit parfait pour déconnecter et profiter du Douro
Pros:

Un véritable petit coin de paradis sur le Douro, où le temps semble s’arrêter. La vue sur la rivière depuis le lit est tout simplement imprenable.

Les espaces communs sont très agréables et invitent à profiter pleinement du lieu. Mention spéciale pour le coin piscine, absolument fabuleux pour se détendre et admirer le paysage.

Wonderful luxury hotel next to the river, with amazing views and a great pool.
Pros:

Wonderful hotel. Rooms look out over the Douro. The pool is amazing. We appreciated the welcome drink and the EV Charging. Breakfast was on a terrace next to the river, with a great selection.

Un angolo di Paradiso a Pinhao
Pros:

Un posto straordinario,
L’hotel è davvero un angolo di paradiso con due bellissime terrazze sul fiume … una per i pasti o bar e l’altra per la colazione.
Il ristorante ottimo !!!
Camera molto carina con balcone e vista sul fiume.
Tutta la struttura è molto bella.
Piscina piacevole per trascorrere il fine pomeriggio.
Davvero un bellissimo posto.

Die Lage am Fluss war unglaublich. Man hatte direkten Zutritt zum Fluss und hier gab es viele Anbieter von Touren. Das ganze Ambiente war toll, das Restaurant herausragend. Selbst am Pool wurde man versorgt mit Essen und Getränken

Great location on the river with beautiful views. Lovely common areas and pool. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

There is no outlet in the bathroom which means you have to go into the bedroom to dry your hair or use any electrical styling devices. A hotel of this caliber should do the necessary wiring. We also experienced drop in the internet service in our room.
