One or two dated PowerPoints in our room that were hard to use.
Limited tissues, bin liners & toilet paper supplied, despite us paying to stay for 5 nights.
No gym.

Excellent family stay location
Pros:

Excellent location, with less than 5 min walk to beach.
Spacious apartment for 4 of us.
Facilities were excellent.
Friendly staff allowed us to leave luggage for a few hours, after checkout, until we needed to leave for airport.

Cons:

Not a lot to dislike. Only the fact we had to leave.

Super comfortable stay with incredible views
Pros:

This place is awesome. The location (while up a little hill) is incredible and only a 5 minute walk to the main street, beach and a kids playground which is perfect if you have kids. The views are incredible - we were on the 12th floor overlooking the beach and could see all the way down to Surfers Paradise. The staff were responsive and friendly and organised a cot and high chair for us which was in our room on arrival. The room was clean with plenty of space and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food and cook - very well stocked. The pool and spa were super warm and was cleaned every morning. I would highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed!!

Good short break
Pros:

Location, views (but have had better in this complex), pool/spa. Overall building reactions keeping things fresh.

Cons:

Apartment itself: Kitchen was sparse & uninviting: no bottle opener(!!!), but two garlic crushers(??), no basic consumables (glad wrap, foil - GC stems to have a low standard on this compared with elsewhere but is a simple host differentiator), some plates/cutlery not clean & needed re wash. Basically a notable difference between Gemini and AirBnb kitchen basics. Main bedroom older furniture, 2nd bed clearly intended for kids; uncomfortable and not suited to adults but not advertised as such. Have stayed at Gemini many times over the years, this apartment on the lower end in terms of value. But at least it was clean and comfortable for a short break.
