Super just what the doctor ordered lovely sea air and nice food and accommodation
Pros:

It’s a very friendly hotel ,dog friendly,in an ideal place we have stayed several times now and we will be going back soon

Cons:

Sometimes the parking on site is a bit hit and miss if the hotel has a function on
Also on this visit our room appeared to be above the gym and it was rather loud at times especially when there was classes in in the morning you could hear the music and the instructor quite clearly 🙄
But they are both trivial issues really

The staff were very friendly and courteous. The lounge areas were spacious. The room was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Did’nt tell us the room was directly above the gym so was awoken about 7.00 to loud banging music and loud banging noises.They did move us to another room but why allow this before 9.00am.

Excellent hotel needs tweaking
Pros:

I love the location . The dining room is modern and very light. Food is excellent. Breakfast service which is a table service is absolutely first class. Lots of staff about very friendly.

Cons:

I acknowledge that this is an old hotel and must cost a fortune to run. However, whilst the rooms are well appointed they are letdown by some shabby paintwork. The doors to the rooms look like somebody’s really knocked them about and they are very flimsy wood Faced doors. Carpet needs replacing in lots of areas. However, I wouldn’t let this distract what is a very nice hotel with excellent staff and good food.
One significant point is the cost of alcohol. £12 for a glass of wine. When the bottle itself cost 28 is really not acceptable.

Pros:

Everything about the Glendower was excellent.

Cons:

The only gripe I have is that the bed wasn't very comfortable and the pillows were too hard. Maybe the Hotel could offer a pillow menu so customers can choose what type of pillows they want.

Pros:

The staff were pleasant. The hotel communal areas were lovely.

Cons:

Unfortunately the noise from the wedding disco was unnecessarily loud on our first nights stay. Also the photos of rooms on the website doesn't reflect the tired room we stayed in. It was quite small and the decor could do to be improved.
