Great value and tasty
Nothing
Great location, dog friendly, helpful staff
Good location and comfortable room
Staff were lovely except one on reception who was quite rude
Rude receptionist
Very noisy late at night where room was located above function room but this was due to a wedding being held
Location of hotel. Pet friendly. Good food
My room, number 118 had a strong smell of oil coming through the bathroom window. Outlook terrible. Scaffolding.
We have been many times to The Glendower but it was a first visit for our 5 friends and they all said how much they enjoyed it. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and rooms were very comfortable.
Bar prices are a bit high but you are staying in a Best Western hotel.
Excellent hotel in a fantastic location. Helpful and friendly staff.
Breakfast was ok, location very good
Beds,, the mattresses were old and sagging
Fantastic location and very friendly staff.
The toilet wouldn’t flush properly.
The hot water was scalding I did write this in my last review but it obviously hasn’t been addressed it is very very dangerous!
The taps swivel when turned.
The room temperature was way too hot and only 1 small window to open.
The kettle was broken.
The shelf to hold the kettle etc was in very bad repair and needs replacing.
All the doors to the rooms slam shut waking you up.
Lunch and breakfast both excellent. Great service
We did have a problem with the shower … water ended up all over bathroom floor but reception assured us it would be fixed and apologised for the inconvenience
It’s dog friendly, beautiful interior designs, clean, lovely staff, great breakfast, big rooms and comfortable beds, lovely restaurant!
Rooms are quite hot and no way to turn heat down, the games room isn’t very good. Breakfast is only served until 10:30am on weekends, most places are 11:00. No bath mats in family rooms but baths are slippy for kids, no lamps or wall lights in the kids bedroom so they wouldn’t sleep due to being scared and ended up in our bed.
Great location, our room was clean, comfortable and had a great sea view.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Awkward steps up and down to get to the room. The room was not serviced despite leaving the card to be serviced outside the door. Breakfast was poorly cooked, rubbery bacon hard to cut and the plates slid around the table as no cloths or mats. Far too many dogs!! Barking at each other in the bar and in the bedrooms, we were woken up by dog barking.
An excellent breakfast. The dinner menu was good value and very tasty. Lovely lounge to relax in. Very dog friendly. Great shower.
The room was small with no view, but we had chosen the compact double so it was as expected.
Love the reception, the bar area the lounges were lovely sitting looking out to the sea good location for centre ideal if you have a dog like us directly over the road from the beach.
Our room needed a bit of doing up they are doing this at the moment in stages.
Very enjoyable. Only disappointment was the room, very small, Glazed over window.
The location, the food, the relaxed atmosphere, the safe feeling for a solo traveller, the staff, the appearance of downstairs. The hotel listened to my request for a quiet room n position of it. Thank you.
The radiator in the room wasn’t working.
