Pretty hotel in a great location
Pros:

We had a terrific stay at the Pullman Old Town and I'd take the moaning reviews with a grain of salt.

Firstly, the exterior is possibly the prettiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Taxis can’t drive into the old town so the location right on the edge was perfect. We could be dropped around 150-200m away and we were still super close to all the main Riga sights. When we were exploring the Old Town we saw lots of large groups having to drag their suitcases on cobblestones across much further distances to get to where they were staying.

The staff were all lovely and the bedroom was large and comfortable. It was quite sombre/grey in its colour scheme but that's also restful and we slept very well.

I am an ALL/Accor Gold member and I received a room upgrade and welcome gift.

Lovely boutique hotel. Beware police if arriving by vehicle
Pros:

It’s lovely.. Rooms great loved the quirky layout. Bar great. Very social

Cons:

Arrived on motorbike and was questioned by a policeman that shouldn’t have entered the road to the front of the hotel.. signage very poor . Improved signage and or better notification of where to park and how to access hotel if travelling via vehicles

Unpleasant stay!
Pros:

Terrible experience. I got sick of the heat inside the room. Early morning the temperature was already 26.1C.
Nothing was done. I don't know if the hotel did it on purpose or had issues, however I have nothing to do with that.
Hotel should reimburse all guests! Never stayed in a hotel so hot like this.

Additionally, that thing underneath the room's door is a nightmare. Everyone leaving the rooms could be heard miles away since the luggage hit it and makes unbearable noise. Imagine that during early morning.

The spa is totally unreachable. I went twice to try to find the place and following all the front desk orientation I was not able to find the spa, no signs and no one to help.

Restaurant prices are ridiculously high.

Therefore, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone, not even to my worst enemies I could recommend!!!!!

Btw, the renovation made a huge mistake when put toilette open to the room and the sink with almost no space to use besides the sink but the main issue is the bed is just side by side to the sink and restroom, none separation in between them

Pros:

stayed at this hotel in the very heart of Riga’s old town, and it was absolutely wonderful. The building was beautifully renovated, with a fantastic design and bright, vibrant colors. Everything was top-notch: a professional staff who helped with everything, a quick early check-in, and a fantastic breakfast. The spa and pool were also amazing. I am very grateful and would highly recommend this hotel.
