The scalding hot shower water, someone coming in our room in the middle of the night, staff being clueless, the wonky bed and the bubbling bathroom floor

That the door didn't lock from inside so had to put my daughter pram behind it as I wasn't risking her escaping

I was quite happy staying in the Scarisbrick

The staff and room were very good

The noise from gulls was annoying but that was nothing to do with the property , more to do with the area

Too expensive ( should have put a tent on the beach)

The location was good.

Cons:

The fact we paid £600+ for the room which was very small and run down, toilet was the same..

I understand there was an event on however the very next day the same room was available for £99 for the same room. So to be honest I feel we were overcharged massively, we also spoke to others at the hotel who paid a lot less for the same room.

Not happy 😒

Pros:

Right in the centre of everything good entertainment at night

Cons:

Was inroom 327 and there is a step up on the middle of the room Im a little unsteady on my feet sometimes and when I got up in the night I almost fell because I was half asleep

Staff was very kind.
There was nice pub near the hotel.
Room was clean.

Cons:

Parking space was remote from hotel enterance and the backstreet between hotel and parking was terribley filthy.

Overpriced and disappointing

Only one room available to check in out of two. One room key did not work both nights despite changing keys at reception multiple times.

Not a great experience which we will not be repeating
Pros:

It is a good location in the middle of Southport. We were attending the open golf and it was convenient for that.

Cons:

The room only had a small fan and you could not open the windows. It was extremely hot at night.
The hotel itself is in a rundown condition. The lift barely worked.
The shower worked very badly
