Riva Marina combines the sophistication of a large hotel with the excellence and personal attention of a boutique hotel.
Pros:

The staff were exceptional, the location perfect. The bar and restaurant in front of the hotel is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. The staff went out of their way to make our stay the best possible. The porter/valet escorted us the the ferry, stood with us and guided us on, fantastic. I could not fault this place.

Excellent stay with superlative service.
Pros:

This is easily one of the best boutique hotels that I have stayed in (I have stayed in quite a few). The location could not be beat (it's 1 minute from the harbour port) and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Special mention should be made of Luka who was extremely kind. We had booked two rooms and the hotel gave us an upgrade for free to a suite which was exceptional. The breakfast is great with a mix of a la carte and buffet and both Vladimir and Milica made it special. Our trip to Hvar was one of the best family trips thanks to the staff at Riva Marina and I will surely come back. Thank you once again.

Wonderful waterfront hotel
Pros:

I had a heavenly three night stay here. I had booked a premium room but was given a complimentary upgrade to a balcony Riva view room. I opened the door and fell in love with the room. The vast bed was soooo comfy after each day's exploring and the pillows........THE most soft, comfortable pillows I've ever had in a hotel. The people-watching and boat-watching from my balcony made it hard to leave my room. The delicious food and friendly, attentive staff made it hard to go elsewhere to eat. The breakfast buffet looked and tasted wonderful and the cooked plates, eg my scrambled eggs, arrived so quickly I was barely ready to eat them. If I'm lucky enough to ever come to Croatia and Hvar again, I would stay here in a heartbeat. I just wish home in New Zealand wasn't so very far from this slice of Paradise.

Central location with terrific breakfast and helpful staff
Pros:

Got an upgrade to balcony room and was the best hotel breakfast we had during the trip. Staff was very helpful with the room, getting reservation at a winery, and dealing with luggage. Would definitely return.

Great location on the Riva
Pros:

Position right on the Riva wTching all the port comings and goings

Cons:

Tiny shower room only had one hook for two robes and four towels. More hooks or a couple of towel rails would have been a huge improvement.

In allen Belangen sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel in Hvar
Pros:

Extrem schöne Lage direkt am Hafen, schöne Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Jeden Tag eine neue Flasche Wasser auf dem Zimmer, sowie neue Kaffeekapseln und eine Kleinigkeit zum Naschen.
Auch das Abendessen im Restaurant ist sehr gut.
