The staff was super helpful during my stay. Rooms where comfortable and spacious. Courtyard with the pool was really something else. Buffet breakfast was really good.

I’d stay here again. Charming older property with great staff.
Pros:

This hotel might not be for everyone but I like it and I think I’ll stay here again for business visits. By the standards of Dar Es Salaam this is a relatively old hotel but it wears its age with charm. The number one thing that I would say about this hotel is that the staff are, without exception, welcoming and happy and provide very good customer service. Someone is doing a very good job hiring and training staff. The beds are comfortable. The air conditioning is reliable. The WiFi / internet has worked without any issues. It’s a very managed older property.

Cons:

Nothing that I didn’t like but bear in mind that it is an older building which means that the rooms (whilst comfortable) are on the smaller side. Also all the windows open inward onto a courtyard which has some implications for privacy.
