Large comfortable rooms, very clean staff in the main very helpful and friendly.
The location isn’t ideal for tourists. We had a car, which made things much easier, but without one it’s less convenient. The bus into Siena is cheap and straightforward, although the last return is around 8:30pm, so evenings generally meant relying on taxis. They were often in short supply, with long waits at the ranks.
Walking is possible (around 40 minutes), with pavements all the way, but it’s alongside main roads and not particularly scenic. The final stretch is a long uphill walk which, while not especially steep, isn’t much fun in the summer heat.
Overall, it feels like a hotel that caters primarily to business travellers and coach tours rather than holidaymakers. Breakfast was perfectly adequate, but after a week it lacked variety. We were unexpectedly upgraded to a lovely suite, which was much appreciated, so I don’t want this to sound ungrateful—just an honest assessment. It’s by no means a bad hotel; we’ve simply stayed in others that felt more geared towards tourists.
The hotel was extremely clean with a beautiful swimming pool and surrounds. The room met our expectations and was very quiet with a very comfortable bed. The location is very pleasant and an easy walk to an excellent pizza shop that almost exclusively serves locals.
The staff were friendly although not especially helpful answering questions such as the availability of day tours etc. The location is too far to walk to the old town but taxis are relatively cheap and easy to get from the hotel. The breakfast was basic by international standards and quality average (yoghurt and juices artificial from dispensing machines, scrambled egg runny). This was the same every day.
Mit Pool, grosse Zimmer, Zentrum von Siena mit Buss erreichbar, gratis Hotelparkplätze
Great property , comfortable rooms
A bit far away from the city centre … have to have a car
Muy buenas y elegantes y cómodas instalaciones , desayuno delicioso y muy completo
This was a great home base to visit Siena, some local vineyards, and to soak up the Tuscan sun. Surprisingly nice for a Four Points - definitely a notch above what I’ve seen in the U.S. the hotel has a lovely pool with an outdoor bar and pizzeria that lends a resort feel to it. We were pleasantly surprised! I also recommend a nearby restaurant if you are staying at the Four Points: Antica Trattoria Botteganova

Poolbereich.
