We felt the room we had was dark
no ceiling down lighting in bed area
this was room 810
The mirror and TV need to be swapped over as when sitting at the dressing table the other person can not see tv.

Cons:

The pastries at breakfast sit under a heat lamp an become overly crispy on top and that spoils them. Also minor irrtation at breakfast the bowls for fruit and yogurt are warm and sometimes hot - not the best accompany to cold food

Hotel location excellent for York center. Receptionist very polite and helpful .

Cons:

Minor issue with mechanical plug in sink, didn't detract from an excellent room though. Look forward to returning in the near future .

Location perfect, close to all restaurants and amenities. Good view of minster and the river. Comfy bed and aircon great. Decent breakfast just a little chaotic when busy

Cons:

Parking was confusing and expensive at £20 day , I chose the hotel as it said it had parking so didn’t expect to pay another £40 on top

Cons:

Having stayed at a Radisson Hotel on previous occasions, we were disappointed that the bottled water was not replaced daily and the hospitality tray was not replenished daily either. There were no decaf teabags in the room and when asked at breakfast, the member of staff had no idea whether they were available stating ‘I only work here. Not impressed with his comments. There was no toilet brush. When ringing guest services and/or the front office, no one answered on several occasions when we rang them. The shower had a large fixed head which made it difficult to shower properly if you didn’t want to get your hair wet. In other Radisson hotels they have had a riser bar shower.
