We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Excelsior in Capri. The hotel is comfortable and full of charm, with a stunning terrace overlooking the sea, surrounded by flowers and greenery, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of Capri while staying away from the chaos of the town centre.
What truly makes this place exceptional is the people who work here. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, including some with outstanding service, yet the level of care and hospitality here goes far beyond professional hospitality. From the moment you arrive, you are treated not as guests, but as part of the family.
A special thank you to Gaia at reception, as well as Neli, Thenuca, Buddhika, Pradip, Prasan, and the entire team. An international staff united by genuine kindness, warmth, and care.
What they have created is rare: a luxury hotel that genuinely feels like a family villa.
We are leaving Capri with beautiful memories and hope to return soon.

The most welcoming and friendly staff ever. They could not do enough and made our time staying with time so pleasurable. Beautiful rooms and tranquil gardens. Loved that we coukd choose to take breakfast in the garden or enjoy in our room.

We would thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel! It has a beautiful garden filled with flowers and a stunning view across the bay to the mountain, but more importantly all the staff go the extra mile, nothing is too much trouble and we thank them sincerely for a lovely holiday to celebrate our anniversary.
Nothing to do with the hotel - there was some building work going on next door but the manager immediately moved us to a room away from the work to an upgraded room.

It was a true 5 star ⭐ experience. I have never met staff who are so helpful and attentive.
The rooms were wonderful, clean, smart and historic (1906). Only 11 rooms so the staff knew you personally.
All things sustainable, natural and organic from food to bathroom products.
Breakfast was personally served either in your room, your balcony or the patio overlooking the Capri port and sea. Choice of breakfasts immense.
Our previous hotels in Rome and Sorrento had ‘buffet breakfasts’ and it was disorderly and chaotic. Rather stressful experience. Totally the opposite here!

It’s hard to put into words what a truly special place this is. The hotel is absolutely perfect. The staff are by far the warmest, most hospitable of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we were greeted at the port, every detail was handled efficiently, flawlessly, and graciously. Upon arriving in the hotel via their private transport, we were greeted with glasses of prosecco and told to think of the hotel as our home. For the rest of our stay, that’s exactly how we were treated.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful - light and airy, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and with a gorgeous view. The location is ideal, just outside the main part of town, away from the crowds, but a very short ride away. The hotel offers a very convenient, complementary shuttle in and out of town. We never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a ride.
The hotel has a fabulous chef, and every meal we ate was absolutely delicious. It was so good that we not only ate breakfast there every day, but we had three of our four dinners there. Every meal was wonderful.
I can’t imagine a better hotel than this. Everything is perfect, and it really does feel like home when you’re there. We were very sad to leave and especially sad to say goodbye to all the lovely people we met who work there, all of whom were just fantastic. We are already planning our next visit.
It is hard to put into words how wonderful our experience was at the Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco Capri. The Villa itself is stunning. Absolutely gorgeous! However, what stands out the most is the staff. We were truly treated like family. We were VERY sad that our trip had to end! We can’t wait to go back! If you get the chance stay at the Villa. You will love it!

La colazione è un vero trionfo di gusto e cura: ogni piatto è preparato con attenzione artigianale e si percepisce chiaramente la qualità degli ingredienti. Lo staff professionale, gentilissimo e simpaticissimo, ha soddisfatto qualunque nostra richiesta, dalle proposte dolci a quelle salate, tutto è freschissimo, ricco di sapore e presentato in modo impeccabile. È un’esperienza che va oltre la semplice colazione, diventando un momento speciale della giornata, capace di conquistare anche i palati più esigenti. Il tutto è reso ancora più speciale dalla splendida veranda in cui viene servita: uno spazio luminoso che si affaccia su un elegante giardino in stile liberty e sul mare di fronte, regalando una meravigliosa sensazione di serenità fin dal primo mattino.
La posizione dell’albergo è semplicemente straordinaria: affacciato direttamente sul mare, regala una vista che sembra uscita da un dipinto.
Purtroppo non abbiamo avuto modo di usufruire della bellissima piscina a sfioro situata al primo livello, dove si trova anche un’accogliente area ristoro con comode sedie a sdraio e un piccolo bar.
Un motivo in più per tornare e vivere appieno ogni angolo di questa struttura davvero incantevole.
