Location near stores

Upon check in the front desk was friendly. I asked if they would hold our luggage until the check in time and he was able to get early check in. After this it steadily went down hill. The room on the ground floor was dirty and run down. The couch cushions were stained and souled; the bathroom had hair and dirt. I asked the front desk to change rooms. After an hour we switched to the 3rd floor which was slightly cleaner, but missing a security latch. That evening we discovered the toilet was clogged, I called the front desk and was told to come downstairs and get the plunger. I asked if they could bring it up and was told no. Within 5 minutes I went to the front desk and then waited 15 minutes for the front desk to find a plunger. Eventually he came back with dollar store plunger in a white trash bag and handed it to me. The next morning we get up to get breakfast and there was a sign about the oven being out of service so there's no way to cook, toast or heat breakfast. The pancake maker was producing raw pancakes. They also ran out of milk for the cereal. I have requested someone get back to serveral times and no one has. I have video and pictures of it all. I confirmed talking to a couple that were leaving that day, the breakfast had been unavailable for atleast 3 days before our arrival. Common courtesy would be to notify us ahead of time, giving me the option to find a different hotel. *** update after reaching out to dispute the charges with Hotels .com, the front desk reported I never complained to them and breakfast was available despite the pictures of the sign declaring the oven not working. Terrible experience.

This was by far the worst stay ever. I worked for a hotel for 16 years . This was unacceptable . The room was outdated stains everywhere blood stains on the mattress. The alarm went off all day and night to the point on the second day the firetrucks came there was people lighting off fireworks at 1 AM. There is people smoking weed at the pool with Kids around. There was no ice at all in the hotel. You have one of the busiest weekends and one of the hottest weekends and there was no ice. The hotel was hard to keep cool there was no blankets or palace for the pool out so my child had to sleep with Sheets. Breakfast was not served Monday morning to 7 o’clock. The pancake machine was out of order. The pool was dirty. You had guest out there cleaning it out. The water was down. They needed to add more water to it. My child ended up with panic attacks because of the fire alarms, and the firetrucks and all that other people were fussing and complaining about it. I called and called and called the hotel. No one never answered the phone. There was never no one at the desk every time you went down there and when you are, they were rude. I asked to speak to the general manager. All they said was OK. If it wasn’t for an emergency, I would’ve checked out and went to another hotel but it was a convenient place to where I needed to be. There were people at the pool at 1 AM. I would definitely look at staying at another place before you stay here. Definitely need to hire new staff. And need update and remodel the hotel. and the pool needs fixing is peeling on the sides and everything there’s pieces broken off in the bottom. And for the price I paid for two rooms for two nights I would’ve been better off going to Virginia Beach and paying that price and would’ve had the beach and probably a lot nicer places to stay at and nicer staff .

Bed was ok clean.

The staff was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful.
