Pros:

The Bodega Real has been fashioned into a traditional Spanish style hotel around an impressive central courtyard. I was given a twin room on the second floor with a courtyard view. The room was quite spartan, a little dark and very Spanish. I liked the bathroom which was brighter, and again, was very traditional.

I had dinner in the restaurant and I enjoyed it very much, plus the cost was very reasonable. The single waiter on duty for dinner worked his socks off with about a dozen tables to keep happy. The breakfast was also very decent.

The two receptionists I encountered on my one night stay were very friendly and professional and I was able to store my luggage whilst I explored the surroundings. The housemaids were also very friendly

I chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the railway sation, about a 10 minutes walk - the centre of this charming little town and the ferry terminal are 20-25minutes away on foot.

I would happily stay again.

Volveremos sin duda
Pros:

Hotel con mucho encanto.
Habitaciones amplias, muy limpias y personal encantador.
Destacar a Ana del restaurante. Una gran profesional, con una sonrisa constante y súper dispuesta a una atención excelente. Con personas así, da gusto coincidir.

Great hotel with friendly staff and good value for money.

Staff friendly and helpful.
The courtyard was great for drinks before dinner.

Cons:

The coffee machine was slow and normally a queue at breakfast time...
Would have preferred a cafetiere served and left on own table at breakfast....

Cons:

Aunque las habitaciones son grandes las camas muy cómodas el mobiliario es antiguo pero lo peor es la bañera es muy alta y la mampara no para nada, yo sugeriría cambiarlo a un plato de ducha y una buena mampara
