The hotel feels incredible authentic and has one of the best views we could ask for in Taormina. Staff were incredibly welcoming and kind from the moment we checked in. The breakfast each morning was nothing short of exceptional, truly the best offering of any of the hotels we stayed in on our Sicily trip around the island. The waiters at breakfast were each so lovely, and it was always a really nice start to our mornings.
The hotel is close enough to walk into the central town as well as very close to the beautiful walkway down to the beach
The stunning views were amazing! The old world charm, beautiful wrought iron and worldly feel was wonderful.

Além disso, o hotel preserva muito a história e o quarto era muito espaçoso (tinha até uma linda varanda com vista incrível para o mar).
Por fim, também ganham destaque a cortesia, café da manhã variado (foram bastante atenciosos com minhas restrições alimentares em relação a glúten), excelente atendimento dos funcionários, sempre muito atenciosos, especialmente o Cláudio, brasileiro muito simpático e atencioso! Eu e meu marido adoramos e estadia!

We were here for five nights. Three of the five nights there were weddings at the villa that is part of the property. The music was extremely loud every night until after 1:00am. Unable to get any sleep it was just booming.

The decor is dated, room was very dark and bed uncomfortable. There is a wedding venue across the valley that plays loud music on a Fri- Sun until 1am.

Its a 15 minute uphill walk to the centre, pity they don't offer a shuttle service. If only this hotel had a pool and a much deseved refurbishment it would easily be a true luxury gem! What incredible potential.

La proximité
La chambre qui nous a été attribuée était située au sous-sol, alors que j’avais demandé une chambre avec vue sur l’Etna. Le personnel a été très gentil et nous a proposé de changer de chambre dès le lendemain matin, mais comme nous ne restions que deux nuits, nous avons préféré éviter de déménager.
Cela dit, la chambre correspondant à notre demande aurait dû nous être attribuée dès notre arrivée.
La vue est magnifique et irremplaçable. Le petit-déjeuner buffet est très bon. Le charme désuet de l'hôtel est très appréciable. La navette vers la plage est très bien organisée. Le centre ville est à 15min de l'hôtel à pieds.
Le bruit : Notre chambre donnait près de la réception. La porte laisse passer toute la lumière et tout le bruit. Nous avions l'impression de dormir dans le couloir. Les douches sont à refaire.
Nous étions venus il y a deux ans et le parking était gratuit, il coute maintenant 25€ par jour ce qui est vraiment hors de prix. Nous avons l'impression d'être pris pour des pigeons.
Le personnel est charmant mais la direction n'est pas aimable.
