A Magical Dinner with the Most Romantic View in Prague

Dining at Zlatá Studna was an unforgettable experience — truly one of the finest meals I have ever had in Prague. The combination of exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and the most romantic view over the city created an evening that felt absolutely magical.

Every dish was prepared with remarkable precision and creativity, showcasing the very best of Czech and international gastronomy. The flavors were perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and worthy of a Michelin‑level experience.

A special mention must go to our waiter Honza — unfortunately I do not know his full name, but he is very tall (around 2 meters) and impossible to miss. His professionalism, warm personality, and flawless attention to detail elevated the entire evening. He is truly the pinnacle of hospitality and a credit to the restaurant.

Zlatá Studna is a place where exceptional food meets breathtaking views and world‑class service. A perfect choice for a romantic dinner, a celebration, or simply an unforgettable night in Prague.

Fabulous place. All about the Service.
Pros:

What a gem! Hidden away but in easy reach of the Castle. Lovely welcome and old fashioned courtesy. Nothing was too much trouble.
The service was first class.
We loved it.

Cons:

My only gripe was the pillows.

Amazing hotel
Pros:

We stayed at the Golden Well Hotel for 4 nights recently as a family with 2 teenage children. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and looked after so well - all the staff we met were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and kept beautifully clean. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of choice. Location-wise - we had never been to Prague before but are so glad that we found this hotel tucked into a quiet spot just below the castle - an ideal quiet area from which to explore. We would definitely return to this hotel if we come back to Prague! Thank you

if you need a top class get away !
Pros:

This Hotel, filled with fantastic people is by far the best Hotel experience I have had for many many years. Rooms are immaculately cleaned and the service and friendliness is something that needs to be experienced. From Check-in to Check-out you will feel like a friend of the house. Try the amazing breakfast or experience the top class restaurant, both with a view and a service level that is a must. The people and the location makes it the perfect hideaway in walking distance to all of what Praag has to offer.

Golden time at the Golden Well
Pros:

This was my second stay at The Golden Well hotel in Prague. Each time I stayed a full week and was there partly for business, partly for a respite. I adore the place— it’s blessedly quiet, run with efficiency and care. It’s in the heavily touristed area of Mala Strana, just below the hradcany but it’s a refuge from all that. Beautiful and with a gracious staff. Tge breakfast is amazing as well in the morning breakfast room with stunning views of the city. I consider it my home in Prague.
