Super location and rooms with amazing view.
Pros:

The room was spacious, modern and well equipped. The view was fantastic. On the ground in the hall we could watch the football world cup in a huge screen. It has a perfect location.

Cons:

Although the breakfast was served well and the selection was huge, the taste of the breakfast was very neutral. It has been the first hotel in the UK where I have stayed where the orange juice was awful. Finally I left some cloths in the room when I checked out but the staff strangely didn't find them.

Always check bill before paying
Pros:

Location

Cons:

For the price per night this should have been excellent. U have stayed in premier inns that were better. The beds are so rock hard they hurt. The cheap nasty carpet in the room was frayed all around the edge. Poorly maintained. The bar is a complete rip off, so be careful as the staff are very sly and deceptive. When paying for a drink they just put the end of the credit card machine in your face to pay. It wasn't until one member of staff said it was almost £23 for 2 drinks and I asked for a breakdown of bill. They were secretly charging 12.5% service fee. This isn't good business practice. They are supposed to put the bill in front of you and give you the option to include a service fee. Not take advantage of guests who are attending a function and drinking alcohol in the hope they don't notice. THAT IS THEFT AND DECEPTION !!! And to be honest it's disgraceful .

Lovely enjoyable stay
Pros:

Stayed here for one night to celebrate our anniversary and had a lovely time. Couldn’t fault the staff, they were very friendly, helpful and professional. The location of the hotel is really good, plenty of nice eateries nearby, close to the tram stop as well. Fantastic view from our 20th floor room (King Skyline room)

Room was spotlessly clean and very comfy king size bed. Had everything you could need in the room, including a small fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, kettle, iron and board etc.

Huge big screen in the bar on the ground floor to be able to watch the football which was great! Didn’t partake of the food or Cloud bar this time, but have on a previous occasion and it was all lovely.

Cons:

The room was a bit tired and needing a few repairs to some of the room furnishings and the bathroom fittings. The air conditioning didn’t really cope well for the extremely hot day and the room was quite stifling at times.
