Really nice hotel in a lovely setting

Staff at reception were really lovely and helpful. The rooms were fantastic - spacious, clean and comfortable, Really lovely views. great location for an event in Tipperary. Excellent location for families given the size of the family rooms.

Cons:

Disappointed in the staff at dinner which we booked. The hotel was extremely busy but we stood for almost 10 mins at the desk to be seated with my 88 year old father who was on two sticks - the staff were clearly busy but no-one even looked up and said they would be with us shortly - then we were led to a table the far side of the bar and it was really difficult for my dad to get through the people standing around. We had asked if, given how busy it was, the wait and my dad's circumstances, we could sit in the restaurant part which was quiet but were told no. A little bit of training wouldn't go amiss! This lack of care detracted from what was otherwise a lovely stay. Having said that the girl who eventually served us was lovely.
