Staff could not be more friendly, helpful and capable.
Location could not be better - close to BTS and MRT, close to restaurants and shops, yet on a quiet street - unbelievable for Sukhumvit.
Clean, very spacious with great facilities in room and in the hotel.
I visit Bangkok often and this will be my first choice.

The room was large and spacious. Although old, it was clean and in good condition. The staff were extremely polite; a big thank you to the reception, security, and especially the housekeeper who came to clean.
Breakfast could have been more varied. The pool could have been better.

Excellent staff especially the manager in the dining facility on the rooftop.
Tv could be more updated providing yoitube, netflix etc. The couches in the room needs upgrading.
The staff is amazing!
First and foremost, I want to emphasize that the front-line staff are polite, helpful, and do an absolutely excellent job. They are entirely blameless and should not be faulted for the issues here.
The real problem lies with the severely outdated facilities, the unjustified pricing, and the property owners and Accor Group who allow this to persist.
I was staying here for 6 nights, and the poor condition is glaring, especially when compared to the Grand Mercure Bangkok Atrium. While the Atrium is also quite old and has its flaws, it at least provides the basic necessities like reliable hot water. Furthermore, while the Atrium's breakfast was heavily focused on Halal food (which was a bit disappointing for my personal taste), it still offered a far wider variety of choices than this property.
Here, there is barely any hot water in the shower, and the in-room washing machine is broken. The breakfast quality is dismal on par with or even worse than a basic airport lounge. Even taking into account that this is an older serviced apartment, it is baffling that they charge rates comparable to the nearby Mövenpick solely based on their Asoke location.
The blame for this unacceptable state falls squarely on the property owners and investors who refuse to spend money on necessary renovations. If they lack the capital to maintain the property, they should sell it to investors who do. Furthermore, Accor’s failure to conduct regular audits and quality checks while allowing this property to carry the "Grand Mercure" name is pure negligence. It completely betrays the trust of customers.
Objectively speaking, based on the physical condition, management should urgently consider downgrading this hotel to the "Ibis Styles" tier, while strictly protecting the jobs of the current employees. The staff are working incredibly hard, which makes the owners' lack of investment and Accor's negligence all the more disappointing.

I love this place but it's age is showing,due for renovations but that would put the price right up there 😊
Jakkrit, the bellman, was incredibly attentive from the day we arrived until check-out. The check-in process was fast and seamless, even though we visited during Songkran. The reception team even handed out small water guns, which was such a cute and thoughtful touch.
Every time we entered or left the hotel, the staff warmly greeted us. Really reflects how welcoming and polite Thai hospitality is.
We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival ☺️. Room attendant did a wonderful job, clean room. The pool, sauna, and gym are located on the 14th floor, offering a nice space to unwind. I also noticed from the signage that the hotel is pet-friendly.
Although the hotel is tucked slightly inside, the location is still convenient, within walking distance to Terminal 21 and plenty of massage shops nearby.
