Location is near to CBD and Victoria Market.
Either the staff is rude or just don't bother to check messages. Booked a 1 bedroom apartment for my wife and I put in the message that she will be checking in under her name. They did not let her check in as the bookint was under my name. I changed the booking and yet they still gave her trouble by stating they did not believe she is my spouse as we don't share the same last name (very stupid!)
The room comes with a sofa bed that is UNSLEEPABLE with squeaky springs.
Worst Ibis we stay so far.
This establishment needs to do better
Bery convenient location. Walking distance to Melbourne Central, State Library and Queen Victoria Market. It’s near Melbourne Uni and RMIT. Great for parents who are visiting their children studying in these Universities. Walking distance to tram stations and Melbourne Central Station.
Facilities. Non secured wi-fi provided. No toiletries provided - tooth brush, shower caps, toothpaste which is normally provided in this class of hotels. Asked for room slippers and was told that they have ran out of stock. If they have it, house keeping will place those amenities in the room. Lift landings on each level aren’t the cleanest as the bins are situated just by the lifts. These bins are often filled to the brim with rubbish especially towards the end of the day. More can be done to maintain the cleanliness of these areas.
It was central and value for money we could leave our luggage there until we need to catch the train that night would fully recommend this hotel.
