Breakfast was a little on the light side
The location
The hotel needs updating. Very dated, not very clean. One towel. Mouldy curtain rail. Very un kept outside - first impressions very poor - sorry
The location is probably the only thing going for this hotel, the hotel is dirty, dated and definitely has a drainage problem, when you flush the toilet, it bubbles up the bath plug hole!
Everything, it really needs some tlc
Only 2 things available on menu runout for evening meal
Also breakfast no beans ,mushrooms.
Very poor
The hotel was an ideal location for our festival. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the 2 rooms we had for 5 adults were fantastic value. The bar service at the end of night was very good too.
Nothing - everything was very good
The location was suitable
Very dated and worn out. Run on a low budget so everything is of low standard.
Car park to the right of the hotel is hidden from reception and main road and was being used by a couple in a car who were high in substance abuse.
Easy to park and convenient location
Toilets were dirty, bathroom plumbing was noisy with emissions up through the bath plug hole, which was noisy all night
The car parking? I think that’s about it.
Woefully under staffed by people that didn’t seem to care.
When we first got to the hotel, there wasn’t a receptionist there. The two ladies behind the counter couldn’t help, but he did arrive a moment or so after.
I was asked for my name which I gave. He looked confused and I was worried that I’d not booked it correctly, but he then did locate it.
We were given the key and we went and dumped our bags. The lock was a little difficult to work. We struggled with it. A cleaner did see us struggle and didn’t offer to help. We sorted it in the end.
We went back to the property later in the day. There was one guy that was working the bar and reception. There was a power cut. He struggled to serve everyone and check everyone in, in a timely manner.
The room was too hot to sleep in. There was a fan provided but the windows don’t fully open due to a safety system.
The bathroom was dirty. There was mould under the bath mat. The toilet and bath routinely made a glugging/bubbling up sound throughout the night.
We did mention all of this when we checked out. The cleaner that hadn’t offered to help us the day before with the key was now behind reception. He just said thank you and laughed when we answered his question of if everything had been OK.
We wouldn’t come back and it was definitely not worth the money we paid.
Room size was very decent, and the bed was big. The staff were lovely.
The car park was very uninviting. There was loads of rubbish around the perimeter of the car park and the surrounding grasslands. It just needs a good litter picking on a weekly basis. It really lets down the entry to the hotel.
The location
Staff weren't particularly polite and very hard to get hold of anyone over the phone. The room wasn't very clean and the shower curtain was black
Comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Quiet location
Location
Breakfast was awful. My 4yr old great nephew could have made a better job. The bathroom sink and shower wasn’t clean .
