Great hotel for workmen, otherwise, probably don't stay there. My room was opposite the entrance porch with no views at all of trees or countryside. Couldn't have been more noisy with the stairs and corridors and faint rumbling of snoring in other rooms. Disastrous choice for me for a peaceful overnight stay in the countryside. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast either. Tinned fruit mixed up apparently constitutes a fruit salad...

Communication was not perfect: I was told at checkin that the breakfast would be charged one one of the rooms (made a group booking for 5 rooms) and that we needed to say so at breakfast the next day. And the next day we got told off for saying that the breakfast was on one room…

This is just an average run of the mill hotel with 1990s decor

Cons:

Bathroom in room. Water in shower Luke warm at best. Sink cracked and desperate for upgrade.

Pros:

Staff were lovely snd very helpful, lots of parking available, quiet locatoon and beds were comfy
