Fair. Location was excellent. Would return for that reason only
Pros:

Breakfast was cold or missing stated items twice. Much better meals , service and bathroom at La Quinta in San Luis Obispo

Cons:

Hot breakfast, orange juice was missing one day. Bathtub felt like we were going to fall through to the room below ours. Try stepping into it yourself, really.

Nice to be close to beach and a 7/11 gas station but the hotel was out dated

Close to beach free breakfast

Cons:

Road next to room was loud and bathroom sink where next to beds not in the bathroom not much parking to expensive for such and old hotel

Great value for money. Clean, comfortable, a very short walk to the beach and lovely welcoming staff
Pros:

The room was intimate, clean with more than adequate offerings for breakfast which was good value for the cost. The coffee was good too.

Cons:

The fridge in the room was a little wonky and off balance, but still functional.

The location. Was nice to relax on the balcony.

Cons:

The door to the room wouldn't stay closed sometimes even slamming it hard a few times. Phone didn't work to call the office. And no bath soap.

Pros:

The only thing I liked about the hotel stay were the friendly staff and location of the hotel.

Cons:

The room had an old mildew smell. The carpet was dirty. The bed was as hard as a brick. Very uncomfortable. Very thin comforter. Air conditioner is old and doesn’t work properly. Parking is congested and inconvenient. The pull out bed has had its best days and need to go in the trash. My husband sat on it and sunk down a few inches.

The breakfast was very good (for hotels in the USA), and there was a lot of variety.
For those wanting to go to the beach: It is very close—you just have to cross Highway 1 (there is a pedestrian crossing approximately 150 meters away).

Cons:

The hotel furnishings and the bathroom are not the newest, but are nonetheless acceptable and functional.
