[1] No Air Con in bedrooms.
[2] No defined bar area that was comfortable- big draw back . Basement Bar cramped and featureless.
The food was lovely, grounds were beautiful and staff very friendly especially in the cellar bar in evenings and the lobby restaurant
My husbands food order was wrong the first day and by the time they got it right my food was finished as I had to eat mine or It would have got cold, 2nd night in the steakhouse we waited 65 mins on our food and once it come out to us it was cold, we waited 20mins to even get a drinks menu, we noticed everyone got complimentary bread and we didn’t and didn’t feel the staff were overly friendly.
It was my husband’s birthday this was the reason for the stay and it was not acknowledged like a lot of other hotels they even left a card…….. those kind of touches leave a memory and encourages people to go back.
We went to the spa and my gown had holes in the under arms of it and last thing was the heat, omg the heat in general of the whole hotel was very uncomfortable
meal was excellent facilities and grounds were excellent
The rooms were to hot and humid and sleep was virtually impossible . The wines were poor quality and vastly overpriced .
