The Posada del Lucero is the last exponent of the inns that existed in Seville from the 16th century. This elegant hotel has been scrupulously restored respecting its values and essence, in harmony with tradition and modern technology. Located in the heart of the city, in the best shopping and leisure area and a step away from the most famous monuments of Seville.

Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. Unbelievably peaceful- superb noise insulation. Location could not be better. Fantastic restaurant right next door (Braxas)

Nice hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Well located - within walking distance of main attractions. Smooth check in. Very helpful staff. Room was very modern/ updated. Breakfast was very good. Provided a free drink one night.

Cons:

Pool was very small. Very dark decor which makes some stairwells difficult to navigate (need better lighting).

Plush stay in a big city
Pros:

This hotel is beautiful, retaining the historical footprint but nicely updated. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. The room was lovely and quiet; there’s a very busy bar nearby but I didn’t hear any noise from the street (though I was also very far back in the building). It’s easy to get around the city from this location, though Sevilla is big and some sights aren’t easily walkable. After a long day of walking I came back to find a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for me!

Cons:

The hotel is a bit hard to navigate, though no harder than that area of the city itself. My room didn’t have a view except for a wall, but I suppose without the wall there’d just be some other building’s windows and possibly noise; it’s a city after all. There was still daylight in the room though.
