Cons:
Serious unresolved charge reported by a guest (claimed €250 taken)

Minor issues like a noisy bathroom fan reported by one guest

Categories

Cleanliness
9
Multiple reviews praise cleanliness and hygiene; rooms and breakfast area described as clean and well cared for.
Service
7.8
Mixed signals: several reviewers call staff friendly and helpful (bicycle storage help), but others note impersonal self check-in, understaffing (no dinner), and a serious complaint about an unresolved charge which lowers service perception.
Location
9.5
Consistently praised: central/quiet/beautiful area, walking distance to shops and parks, convenient for Utrecht/Slot Zeist.
Room Quality
9
Rooms repeatedly described as spacious, quiet, comfortable beds and good bathrooms; one report of a noisy bathroom fan only.
Amenities
7.6
Good on essentials (breakfast, in-room coffee/tea, bicycle storage, attached garage), but parking availability and cost and the largely self-service model are noted as drawbacks.
Value for Money
6.8
Mixed to negative: several guests highlight good price-quality, but complaints about expensive parking fees and a serious unresolved unauthorized charge strongly reduce perceived value.
Food and Beverage
8.5
Breakfast is frequently praised as very good; restaurant food described as reasonably priced, though some guests experienced unavailable dinner due to understaffing.
Overall Experience
8.2
Majority of stays described as pleasant, peaceful or superb with many repeat-willing guests, but the unresolved charge and parking issues temper overall sentiment.

Pros:

The location is beautiful and staff is friendly.

Cons:

Wifi was pretty bad, beds were to soft for me and parking options were to expensive. I paid 57€ for 3 days parking. I know it's a public garage, but signs advertise it as Figi parking and I would at least have expected a discount on public rate.

Pros:

Everything was superb. If I had the chance I would give more than 10 to the employees. Great support for showing us the locked storage area for our bicycles.
