Close to the beach
Wasn’t clean
The location was good, it was quiet, and the staff was great.
The parking. Not enough spaces had to park around the corner.
Just back from 5 day stay very disappointed in this property! Will start with good.
The good. It’s clean, location right on beach easy access. Front desk staff friendly.
The bad. Parking 2 blocks away! If you need towels after 2 pm the front desk doesn’t have them. The maid service wanted to clean our room at 830 every morning we asked them to do it later our room never got cleaned entire trip! Was like pooling teeth to get towels. Our neighbors scope bottle was already open and partially used when they got to there room! They said there room was not clean! Now to the on-site restaurant we attend Jelly Roll concert and had planned to eat at the restaurant after concert says open till 2am. We arrived at 11pm. Sign said seat yourself after 15 minutes of being totally ignored and watching the waitress party with a group of people watching the NBA basketball game we left! This could be a good hotel not great however stay somewhere else for what I paid ver very disappointed!

The location
I pay for ocean view and they gave me a partial view, the pool and a restaurante were closing my view.
The beds were amazing. Very comfortable. Everything was clean.
They did not have complimentary breakfast. Pool was VERY cold. During our stay the pool ranged between 58 and 65 degrees.
Restaurant and the bed was very comfortable
The Surfbreak hotel offered exceptional service from check in through departure. All of the staff was friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay seamless. In the lobby there was fruit, granola bars water bottles and coffee/tea everyday. The hotel was very clean and quiet. We had a lovely view of the ocean and could walk or bike on the boardwalk steps away. The bed was comfortable and shower head perfect. The outdoor pool was steps from the beach. The Calypso restaurant is right on site and offers a yummy new Mediterranean/American menu. Shops, restaurants and all conveniences are a walk away. We give 5 stars!
I liked the ocean view from my room. The location was very convenient with easy access to the beach. The hotel offered free bottles of water, coffe and some fruits all day. Also, I liked there is a restaurant-bar at the hotel
The elevators are small and one was broken

Shower could have had a little more pressure. The toilet handle had to be held down for it to flush. But not a big deal.
Very close to a lot on the boardwalk & short walking distance to the beach. Super friendly & accommodating staff. Bed was very comfortable.
The rooms need to be updated. TV wasn’t great quality. The toilet in our room was extremely finicky, we thought it was broken (had to hold the handle down for 10+ seconds for it to flush). The tiles in the bathroom look like they were just shoved together (it looked messy/the grout was extremely messed up) & there was black mold on the ceiling in our room (room 304). Balcony was also dirty when we arrived (trash from previous travelers was left out there).
Went for a weekend. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, the view from our seventh floor room was great, but the bathroom sink was always backed up, the toilet always needed several flushes to fully work, and the hot water was barely lukewarm. The air conditioner worked fine, but the heat exhaust on the balcony seating it unpleasant. Also for some reason the WiFi password stopped working hours in advance of our 11AM checkout time.

Friendly staff, very helpful & always pleasant. Comfortable bed & great suite.
Bathroom lights were very dim. There was hardly any water pressure & barely any hot water.
