We found the check-in process very stressful due to misunderstandings about the payment and deposit - which happens, but we found the staff to be rude as we tried to resolve it.
We also have still not received our deposit back after 2 weeks, which seems poor.
The staff was very helpful and courteous.

My stay at Millennium Shanghai Hongqiao was excellent. The room was very spacious, comfortable, airy and bright. It also gave me the tranquil and serene feeling. The staff were polite, pleasant and friendly.

It was not in the city center, but taxi is so cheap in China.
The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide variety of choices including western style breakfast, Chinese dishes, eggs made to order, and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The wifi seems quite restrictive as to which sites are accessible. I understand that the Chinese government controls which sites are approved and which are not, but it seemed restrictive even in light of that.
Centrally located, Huge foyer and lovely big rooms. Nice big bathrooms. Very comfortable stay. Wish we could upload videos as well.
