Personal war freundlich. Das ist leider das Positive.

Wir wissen eigentlich nicht, wie es wirklich ist: dieses Haus war sicherlich mal ein ganz tolles Hotel, mittlerweile aber doch sowohl äußerlich, als auch beim Interieur, ziemlich abgeschliffen und bedürfte einer Runderneuerung. Der Aufzug knattert und wackelt, Zimmer war ohne Ventilator bei fast 30 Grad Zimmertemperatur. Mein Wunsch an der Rezeption einen Ventilator zu bekommen wurde nicht entsprochen: sie haben keinen!!!

Eine Auszeit mit Freunden
Pros:

Tolle Lage am Rhein. Die Zimmer sind groß und die Betten waren sehr gut. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und der Frühstücksraum ist klimatisiert.

Cons:

Aufgrund der andauernden Hitzewellen vielleicht einen Ventilator oder ähnliches zur Verfügung stellen. Aber das ist ein Problem welches in Zukunft immer mehr wird und das Hotel kann da natürlich nichts dran ändern.

Pros:

Der Ausblick auf den Rhein, allerdings nicht bei jedem Zimmer vorhanden, unsere Töchter hatten einen Ausblick auf ein verkramtes zwischendach zum Seitenhaus.
Bei den beiden Mitarbeiter im Frühstücksservice wird Freundlichkeit groß geschrieben.

Cons:

Das Zimmer stinkt aus dem Bad nach Toilettenreiniger, auch nach dem Lüften. Das Wasser aus dem Badezimmer Waschbecken riecht nach Chemie, habe dann mit gekauften Wasser Zähne geputzt.
Das Essen im Restaurant lässt man sich mit Preisen aus einer Nobelküche bezahlen dabei ist es Schulkantine vom Niveau und selbst diese sind heutzutage besser.
Die Rezeptionistin steht dauerhaft im Eingangsbereich und raucht. Mit Zigarette im Mund bei Anreise begrüßt, dieser Qualm durchflutet das ganze Hotel, auch als wir morgens den Balkon öffneten im Obergeschoss, wurden wir mit frischen Zigarettenrauch begrüßt. Die Dame der Rezeption war irgendwie überall zu sehen, hinter der Bar, im Restaurant, Rezeption und vor der Tür, bei Ansprache war sie aber meist nicht zuständig.
Die Zimmer mit Teppich, alter Teppich...sehr unhygienisch.

It is literally near the center of all activity in the town. Also being near Rhine River, added coolness to otherwise hot place, especially on the 4th floor.. Hey have lift for all floors. They serve a very comprehensive breakfast where other places charge for this! The person directing the breakfast needs a shout out. Professional, quick, helped others and clear dishes as people left. Last very good internet price compared to other hotels in the area.

Cons:

First took awhile for agent to locate me on Booking? Internet on 4th was absolutely dismal, for classy hotel. Had better for allot less. Would drop to 15 mbs and then cut out. Too check emails and use other internet was hit or miss. If there wasn't a breeze from river, would've been hot. You have to carry around heavy key holder and a key to front door, even though they are manned 24/7?? Building could use new coat of paint, as it is starting to look used and dated. Last parking- none because of its proximity to the river front. They recommend parking which they say is 3 to 5 mins away. It is more like 10mins and would be difficult for the number of elderly I saw at this place.
