Lovely property and great hosts.
Breakfast very good and a large choose

Great value for money breakfast and adapted to our needs. Tucked away location. Nice and quiet. Just off the main road on a quieter village road. Spacious car park. Small water bottles was a nice touch, especially in a hot summer.
Could have offered a coffee top up, like most hotels nowadays. The bedroom lighting wasn't right. No reading lamp for the second bed. Could have done with an easy chair and lock on the loo door. The loo door didn't close properly, often swung open! The 'landlady' was great at keeping the place clean but could have done with gardener doing same: sweeping up, pruning etc.

The carvery on a Sunday was amazing. Nice vibe in bar. Friendly staff. Good location. Nice and quiet.
Bed was too soft. Bed linen was of a material that makes you sweat. There was a fan in the room but it was so noisy, leading to very poor night's sleep. Hairs in shower on arrival.

The bed mattress was appalling, infact when we had a Bed and Breakfast we through out better mattresses than this one.
We had food on the first night and it was defrosted poor quality lasagne.
It said king room on here.no actual pictures for king room.388ft.it stated, supposidly £95 a night was £78 with genius discount.bar staff were polite & helpful
It said refurbished rooms.wasnt what i expected.for a king room.
Very clean and good value. Generous portions of food in the restaurant and all the staff were very friendly. Dogs are welcome and there’s a great walk nearby down along the river into Beccles or Geldeston.
Some of the rooms open onto the beer garden so there was a little noise in the evening if you’re a light sleeper but overall it didn’t really bother us.

No shaver plug in bathroom or hooks for towels.no glasses. Stayed in no.9 mattress too soft very uncomfortable.
