A little bit of refurb needed with some of the furniture, both in our room and some of the dining furniture.

The room was cosy, clean and well maintained
The shower wasn't working - the water was running but the water wasn't hot and so I didn't have a shower while I was there. The manager offered me a free dinner but honestly speaking, that wasn't great either.
All staff were welcoming & helpful on arrival. Room was exceptionally clean & well equipped eg. Kettle, small fridge with bottled water & milk. Big T.V, Hairdryer, fan & selection of toiletries & clean towels. Beds were clean & comfy.
Location - pleasant & peaceful.
Cooked breakfast was lovely & cooked fresh to order & reasonably priced. Again staff extremely helpful and accommodating at breakfast time, nothing was too much trouble in regards to breakfast choice.
Would highly recommend staying at this Motel & would definitely return.
Room was very hot. Although our was stay during a heatwave. (Windows were open for us on arrival & fan on too 😊)
Accommodation separate from main pub and restaurant
Karaoke too loud and disruptive for our dinner party (maybe fit a double glazed door to separate at least the larger dining room
The staff were very welcoming. The food was good and plentiful. The gardens were very pleasant
The rooms
There was no ventilation except small windows. In the recent heatwave the rooms were too hot for any comfort.

King rooms very comfortable with good size TV and ensuite shower. Small bottles of shower gel and shampoo toiletries and hairdryer provided.
There's a kettle, coffee, tea, milk and bottled water and a tiny fridge.
Restaurant food is well cooked and hot. Plenty of choice.
The motel is dog friendly with a very convenient, fenced adjacent field to walk the dog.
The staff are very friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble for them.
Location is ideal for Beccles, Southwold and Lowestoft.

Handy for the coast and local attractions. In the grounds of a nice pub with great food.
Some minor maintenance things like bulbs out, loose toilet seat. Very light early in the morning, so a blackout blind would have been appreciated.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was well appointed and very clean and the food was excellent
