Very well located. Close to everything that we required.
A bit over priced
L'emplacement de l'hotel est idéal.
Le personnel parle français.
Comfortable, well appointed rooms with large bathrooms. The bed was the best one I've had during my 16 day stay at 7 properties. The staff was friendly and, equally important, efficient. Daniele gave us a map and a good suggestion on where to go as we checked in. A different Daniel took care of us in the rooftop bar that same evening.
My only regret is that I didn't find La Commedia sooner. It was the third of three places we stayed in Venice. The first was too expensive for crowded accommodation, the second one was expensive and had terrible water pressure. La Commedia offered the greatest value and comfort. Sounds like a paid promotion, but I solemnly swear this was the best deal and stay of all the places we stayed in Italy.
This hotel is located in a quiet square close to all of the major tourist areas. The staff were very helpful in arranging our transport to and from the airport and helped bring our luggage from the water taxi to the hotel (short walk). They also provided a nice map of the major landmarks that helped us navigate the beautiful city. The rooms were well spaced and the bathrooms were stocked well.
They did not have room service, but they have a bar on the 4th floor that does some small bites and a restaurant right outside the building. There are also many fantastic food options just around the corner.
excellent location.

A bit pricey
They have a very tasty breakfast.
Very good breakfast, excellent air con, good room size- bigger then expected (Classic double), excellent bathroom, very helpful staff, excellent central location, short easy walk from the water bus stop with luggage, overall excellent value for money.
