I would like to especially mention that the staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. The reception team and restaurant staff made me feel welcome, and I really appreciated their assistance.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi was not reliable in my room and often made it difficult to use basic online services. As I was travelling within the EU, I could rely on my mobile data, but for international travellers depending on hotel Wi-Fi, this could be a serious inconvenience.

Excellent location however not as great
Pros:

- Excellent location : in the heart of Ponta Delgada , everything (supermarket, bar, restaurant, shopping) can be done by foot within less than 10 mins. The location was definitely the highlight of our stay.
- Excellent room : the room was huge (way above our expectation), everything appeared new and decorations were great. We even had two big window and a view!
- AC : the ac was simple to understand and very efficient

Cons:

- Parking : this was the deal-breaker for me. We did book this hotel in particular because of its parking facilities. However, upon arrival it was a surprise to know that the parking comes with a lot of T&C : there are less than 10 parking space for the whole hotel (first come first serve) , to be able to park you would need to stop the car in the middle of the road and ask for the staff to open you the parking space and this...only if it is available (so forget about peak hour). In the end, we could not park in the hotel, which is a shame. I believe this should be added in the hotel description.
- Bathroom : the size was of the bathroom was great however : it was ancient (like 80s vibe) which not only means old fashioned looking but amenities were broken (shower handle) , rusty (the vanity), leftover paint on the door , water pressure almost inexistent, extraction fan not working but the cherry on the top was the fact that you need at least 5-10 mins to eventually get hot water.
- Amenities : for a 4 stars it is lacking basic amenities such as a coffee/tea selection , kettle , iron board, proper mini-bar....
- Cleanliness : was not at the level of a 4 stars.
- Breakfast : food was fresh however the selection was minimal (towards extremely limited if you were a vegan).

Un bon hôtel pour rester à Ponta Delgada
Pros:

Un bel hôtel dans le centre de Ponta Delgada. La personne qui occupe le poste à la réception le soir était extrêmement sympathique et gentille ! Le reste du personne, bof...

Le petit déjeuner n'était pas fou.

La chambre était très grande et très agréable !
