Overpriced for the style but a god location
Pros:

Good location

Cons:

The hotel is used for coach tours and so the lobby is like an airport lounge
The pool is nowhere near the size the pictures portray and no one police’s the reserving of beds so none available by 1030
The main issue though was the air con not working at all in 40 degree heat - we complained and they sent a technician but they still couldn’t fix it

Cons:

Zona da piscina rodeada pelo hotel, bastante pequena para a as necessidades. Felizmente há praias perto.

Pros:

Great hotel. We liked the pool and gym. Breakfast was excellent. Very well located near to some great places to eat and drink very near by. Bus stop a few metres away will take you into old town or the other way to the beach. Free parking as well. Would definitley recommend if visiting Dubrovnik.

Very pleasant and relaxing

Clean, well located, many facilities available

Extra cost for drinks during the meals
Extra cost for the gym
Staff sometimes taking the dishes too early before we finish. We feel a bit of pressure and I think this point can be improved

Great base to tour the city.

Great location, excellent staff, great service
Pros:

The location of Hotel Lero is just a short bus ride from the Old Town or a 20 minute walk downhill. The hotel is served by bus number 4 which runs every 15 minutes in each direction. Check the timetables at bus stops. This makes the hotel very accessible to the Old Town. You can even buy bus tickets from reception. Best of all there is a bar at the bus stop for Hotel Lero.
The hotel has a relaxed, calm atmosphere and this is demonstrated by all staff. All staff are bilingual, friendly and helpful. We cannot speak highly enough of the staff.
The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and are accessed by a lift or stairs to a small section of rooms in the hotel. Other sections were accessed by their own lifts and stairs. This added to the feeling of calmness and exclusivity. Our room overlooked the pool and had a balcony.
There is a large restaurant for breakfast which has an amazing selection of hot and cold foods and beverages. Everything was delicious. We also ate from the bar menu on a late afternoon and this was also delicious.
The location of the Hotel and our rooms meant that we had no issue with noise.
The service was amazing from concierge, reception, room servicing, bar and restaurant.
Considering the location, amenities, service and all important staff, the hotel provides excellent value for money. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you Lero.

Good value for money in a very expensive city. Lovely staff.
Pros:

Lovely room and all the staff were helpful and friendly … breakfast was very good, and porters really helpful with bags, kids and Taxi.
Also enjoyed the gym and facilities for price point.

Cons:

Pool area very crowded, but understandable given heat. Lovely to have available.

Mixed experiences
Pros:

Good location, easy to travel by bus to nearby places. Room very clean, whole hotel looked like it had recentlybeen decorated. Plenty of choice at breakfast and food was very good. Bar staff very friendly. You must try the Taj Mahal restaurant - amazing food and service!

Cons:

Pool area, although very clean, is far too small for the size of the hotel/number of guests. We struggled to even get a chair some days, let alone a sunbed. Obviously the area is limited by the amount of space available, but there would be room for several more sunbeds if the space was better utilised. Guests appreciate sunbeds far more than a pebbled area made pretty with plants.
One other issue - I went to reception to buy bus tickets one evening and was asked to pay the city tax, even though I pointed out we were there for another 3 days. Being taken by surprise, and being in a hurry to catch the bus, I paid it in cash and didnt think to ask for a receipt. When we came to check out I was asked (by the same member of staff) to pay it again. Despite telling her what had happened, I was basically told that I didn't have a receipt and if I'd paid it the tilll would have been over by that amount, and did i want her to pay it out of her own money! Only just over 13 Euros, but very annoying, So beware, get a receipt for everything you pay!
